Always heard that countries in western Asia, all the way east to India have so much diversity or so many different ethnicities within their individual countries. Skin color, facial features, body types vary within these countries. Even average height varied with these different ethnicities. My brother is 6'3" and served in the USA navy and had several tours in Iraq. While the average height in Iraq for men is about 5'8" or 5'9" depending on which website you find on the internet, he said that he felt average in height with one of these tribes in Iraq. Can't remember what he said that they called this tribe or ethic group but he said that a majority are over 6'0". I hear we get that in basically every country in western Asia with Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and even India. We think of Indians as short and they usually are short, especially in eastern India that borders these East Asian and southeast Asian countries but in western India, especially northwest India they are mostly tall than short. So several of these individual tribes, ethnicities or whatever you want to call them from northwest India to the countries west of India in Asia are taller on average than Europeans, which includes the Dutch. Very interesting!

Thats probably because it's not as common as it is in northern/eastern Europe. If you ask a Northern European I think a significant amount of them will answer something like Mediterranean countries, middle eastern and perhaps Latin American.
