Well just remember if you got it off ebay, ebay takes 10% of money made from the sale so if at base its 4000, ebay gets 400. So the seller started at 3600, but then the seller had to pay for shipping which probably put them at that 3550-3590 range. So all things considered the seller didn't make any money on it LOL.
Not to mention grading cards isnt cheap
How do you know the seller didn’t buy them new and just held them until now? Especially the tin which usually goes for $20 when it first comes out. 🤷🏿♂️
@@tzford because that would suggest it was someone, who held content all that time back and also bought very recent products like the rise of and the korean reprints. To just then sell. This is clearly a company/store selling sealed product and graded cards its bought.
@@lukehull8865 yeah. Like with Rise of the Duelist it started at what? $70 then like within 2 months jumped to $90 or something like that and people bought it out quick.
@Future Pants you do make a valid point. He very well could do that but what would be the point of doing that? He shows his travels to Walmart and other countries like Japan and Taiwan just for Yu Gi Oh tournaments and events. I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt here.
3:08 - If you want to get it working, then you'll want to open it up and look at the battery. It's possible the battery has leaked and corroded some of the traces or caused corrosion on the contacts so the buttons no longer work. You'll want to clean off all the corrosion with vinegar to neutralized the battery acid, then scrub it clean with some isopropyl alcohol.

To be fair, most likely in a year or so, the value of those booster boxes, sealed, may just jump up ~100 bucks a piece depending on what they contain and how they affect the meta.
This may have been a ~460 USD L today, but play it smart and the money will come back.

One thing I have noticed about buying single yugioh cards online from ebay and from card stores is they tend to sell damaged cards and it's very difficult for the buyer to pick up on these defeats before purchase. Why is this so bad in yugioh?

For these kind of products if your going to go in not knowing what you are buying you are probably better getting someones like folder collection as that usually suggests they are quitting and probs willing to take a lil bit of an L on the value. Compared to a buisness thats doing this to make money. Obviously a buisness isnt going to give you more than what you pay.
