So much character … I love it . You get get so much more than here in London . They are selling boring characterless 140 sq m flats ..called penthouses for over 3 million pounds up to 7 million.
If I were able to live in or around London I would prefer in the country.. I just love the cottages.. A country life is for me..

It has warmth to it especially the top floor with the bathtub .Some properties are sterile and cold ,that is the feeling that I get .
This place due to keeping the fireplaces original and the alcove in the dining room does give it character.

Very beautiful and unusual. A bedroom, sitting room and bath on a floor( it would feel like your own separate quarters) Main floor to share when eating/entertaining. Laundry in the hall basement & who ever wants a parking space pays more.

Gorgeous blank canvas. Except for the exterior and the extra bathrooms the floor plan is a carbon copy of my grandma's Victorian house, the home she was born in.
Victorian homes are quite like those buildings innew york.
Still in England they are smaller a littel bit tighter with narrow steps and stairs. Still they provide beautiful and big homes.

Great house.
Most of the lighting is lousy. They could have used professional help.
The bathrooms look old, but the design of them hold up nicely.
The top floor on these old houses were often for servants, since they'd be the ones going up and down all those stairs.
The fireplace disguises could be improved upon. I understand them not wanting the mess of wood burning fireplaces, but the gas type would be my solution.
I'd rather have a big garden in place of the garage, but that's just my taste.
Overall, I'd live there in a minute.
