I loved hearing about your trip and the different yarn stores you went to. I’ve never been to London, but will definitely check them out if I ever get there. That was really interesting about Loop Yarns’ hand dyed yarn that we can get here being a better deal here. I guess it’s a good niche for them for people that want to get some of the North American yarn when they are there. Just like we get excited when we can find some of the European yarns here. I’m from British Columbia and was recently in Toronto and went to the Knitting Loft. I was in HEAVEN! So many gorgeous European yarns that I don’t see much of where I am. Xoxo
I agree knitting loft is lovely! I went to your two knitting stores when I was in Vancouver last summer. I really liked them too. Nice to have someone that stocks Drops nearby.
I just got home (I live in Minnesota) from a trip to Arizona. On the trip I went to two yarn shops. Sedona Knit Wits in Sedona and Purl In The Pines in Flagstaff. Both were very nice stores and I would recommend both. I got a ton of yarn at both stores and really enjoyed myself.
How I would love to go to London in spring!! BTW, the Krea and West Yorkshire Spinners yarns are both stocked at The Knitting Loft in case you'd like to restock at some point. I think that, even with shipping, it'll be comparable to what you paid in the UK. Things in London are seriously expensive. Sigh.
Thanks for sharing your London trip. Sounds like you did a lot on a short time! I just came back from Mexico. I cast on a Ranunculus on the way down and did some knitting around the pool. I was in London in 2016, but didn't do the yarn shops. Definitely something for next time!

Have an amazing time! Lots of travel delays. Flight was delayed by an hour, luggage delayed by 1.5 hours, I was selected for COVID testing, and then our bus to the lot was delayed too. It was a long day!
The pryms? It’s honestly never bothered me because of the taper. I’m actually knitting a project with them right now. If they made a metal set like that I think they’d be my favourite needles
