I am new to the Charlotte Tilbury look and ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Pillow Talk line! It is a classic look. You can take it up or down and LITERALLY 1 PALETTE DOES IT ALL! SHE'S AMAZING!

I'm new to Charlotte Tilbury. I haven't really tried any of her products before but when I saw this new eye palette, I fell in love. So, I decided to order this palette and it's arriving either tomorrow or on Monday. I can't wait to try it out and I hope it comes tomorrow as I'm going out Saturday night and I would love to wear these colors.

I totally agree with you. I wasn't going to buy ight because I have so many palettes. Oh I'm so glad I bought it. It's so creamy, no fall out, easy, yet looks like I spent a long time creating the look. I've received so many compliments when I wear it. Great value in my opinion, even if you have to buy as a splurge. I don't often any of her quads, but I will buy all her bigger pallets from now. Im picking up the holiday palette before they're gone.

I personally love Pillow Talk! And I agree with you- I find it much easier to work with quads and quints because I don't have to think about what colors to use and how to combine them. I do own quite a few larger palettes (mostly 12 pan and I have a huge collection of MUG singles) , but I mostly tend to use my TF quads. I really want to get the Pillow Talk quad. What's your opinion on that palette? Are there any colors that repeat in the larger Pillow Talk palette that you reviewed or are they completely unique? Is owning both of the Pillow Talk palettes redundant?

would you suggest this or the too faced just peachy palette better for people who like more pinks/warm tones and everyday looks? I can't decide what's more worth it
Thanks Erin! I’m a huge Charlotte Tilbury fan and bought this palette immediately. I agree that the pigmentation and quality are outstanding as you’d expect, and also agree that virtually all the shades are very peachy orangey, even those that look more neutral in the pan. Personally I don’t love the look on me, and think your advice is perfect about steering clear if you don’t like those tones. ❤️
Yeah I was in love when I swatched (I'm still in love) but on the eye they much warmer than expected. I don't mind it, but it's something you have to take into consideration! xx

Is this palette really “Limited Edition” ? Do we know yet? I want to get it but I don’t want to run out and get it, if I can pick it up at a near but later date. Thanks 🙏
I am over it basically now that she has released the shade in basically all color cosmetics categories. The only thing I’d wish for is original Pillowtalk in the Hollywood Lips Liquid lipstick and kissing formula. I know she has superstar lips which is similar to kissing but well that would complete it.
Only new color cosmetics that she could do in “Pillowtalk” would be to do the PT eyeliner shade as a mascara color.
Tired in general of all her new eyeshadows always being rose golds, peaches, berries, and yellow golds. Time to explore and expand other hues imo.

Erin Nicole TV Hmm... Knowing how popular her PT items are and with the palette packing being the same as the rest of the items in the new pt products ... It would be odd if she didn’t make it permanent or at least available to buy for a couple of months.
Anyhow I picked up PT medium lipstick and PT eyeliner and I really love them. I don’t mind pt items but she may be jumping the shark if she continues with colored cosmetics around more of her popular lipstick shades. It’s a smart marketing narrative when she wants to release a new quad to market it as an extension to a popular lip shade.
Love the brand just want to see new hues.
Might have to pick this up sooner then. I don’t have any of these colors in my collection so it would add to my shadow collection.
The official release date at retail store is 30 January 2020. I asked my local Charlotte Tilbury retail store lol.
Sal.W Right, but I was wondering if the palette would eventually become permanent as she has said the original PT lipstick and blush at initial release that those would be LE but turned out to be permanent. Anyhow I caved and ordered the palette . It came today in the mail. I can’t wait to play with it. Just wanted to avoid the expense at this time on it but decided permanent or LE I want to use it now along with all my Pillowtalk lip products, blush, and eyeliner . Looking to get the highlighter wand when it comes out next month to complete a full face of Pillowtalk.
I like those colors on instant eye palette, definitely will go buy it cos user friendly too...not too smoky n shimmering.....tks for sharing.

Hi Erin! I agree with you regarding the large palettes! I don’t reach for them very often, too overwhelming. Also, I decluttered my ABH palettes due to their excessive fallout 🙁. I was thinking of passing on this CT Palette due to the red tones in it. Afraid I may have an allergic reaction 😨. Also, I’m afraid it may wind up looking too pink or orangey pink on my eyes..... I do adore the quality of CT shadows though. They are simply fantastic! It was a hard decision 😊. Xoxo 😘
I love all the looks you created! I think the palette is beautiful. I have one from last year so I would need to see how close they are. But I would definitely buy if you don’t have any of her large palettes. Great review & showing of various looks!!

ABH does have horrible fall out. I decluttered because of that reason. I'm sure the CT pallette is great quality, but the color story seems just like more of the same from her. All of her palettes look basically the same.
Completely fair! Like I said, it’s really not worth picking up if it’s just going to be repetitive of what you already own. I think I’ll probably use it instead of Norvina going forward because of the fall out! Xx
I love CT since she launched her line. However I find this palette has too many similar colors. On the eyes most of them pretty much look the same. You could basically have 4-5 colors in a pan and achieve all 4 looks.
I think that’s completely fair! Since I only have the two palette of pops from CT, this palette was perfect but I know most people have a huge collection and this really won’t be special :/ xx
I absolutely love CT lipsticks and blushes. I haven’t tried her eyeshadows yet, but this palette is beautiful! I’m thinking about buying one of the quads in a neutral color like The Sophisticate, before I buy something big and bold like Pillow Talk. But, the colors are gorgeous on you!

I ended up getting the CT palette mostly because of the dream section. The palette itself seems like a grown up version of the Too Faced Bon Bon palette. I've been craving those pinks and berries in a sophisticated set up. I recreated the look Mel Thompson did and Loved it! Also, I like that the palette isn't too heavy since the mirror in the palette is really good to do your eye look with and you don't have something big heavy and clunky to hold while doing it.

Hey Erin, I love this eye palette from CT - pinks are totally my cup of tea. It reminds me a bit of the Chanel quad "warm memories" from the Desert Dream collection. Would you say these two palletes I'm mentioning are comparable? Both quality and tone-wise, I mean. I'm interested in your opinion, as I'm thinking about buying the Chanel one, but if CT's pallete is similiar, it is better value (12 colours for USD 75 vs 4 colours for USD ... 50 something?).
Yes the palettes are definitely comparable! The Chanel is $61 for the quad and CT is $75 for 12 shades, definitely a better value. I love them both! 💕

I definitely prefer quads now! They're just so much easier to use than massive palettes. And I can always mix and match to get different looks 💛

Your eyes look great. I have the original PT quad. Very likely not going to purchase the Pops of PT nor this Insta Eye palette but I do like how CT has expanded the PT range. It is her signature style. I do have the PT lip pencil and lip gloss. Rather than the matte PT lipstick, I will purchase the PT Superstar Lips. I will say this, that is tiny lipstick for $34-.

You explain this palette perfectly. I feel exactly the same way it's just so easy and since I do not own any other of her pallets this was a no-brainer for me too. Did I understand you correctly, that you only have those few eye pallets that you held up?? If so, how do you do what you do and not own a ton more makeup? I am now incredibly curious to see your whole "collection" have you done one and if not, can you?

I love the pillow talk line concept, very natural, glowy, and complimentary to lots of skin tones. While I can appreciate the art form, pinkish tone on my lids make me look like I have infection..... so I’ll just like the posts 😂

This palette was perfect for me because I don't already have the original quad, wanted it and then also wanted the Charlotte Darling palette... this seemed to be a perfect blend of those shades and tones. Once I got this I ended up indulging in the pillow talk palette of pops too for the glossy top coats. I have zero self control 🤪. My only wish was that there were something in there other than the final raspberry trio, that's not really my ideal complement to blushy nudes, although the deeper shade in that trio is nice.

This Palette is perfection to me. The pigmentation the texture ease of use......I can’t put this down.

I’m on the fence with this, I need to see it in real life. I have the 2018 and 2019 12 pan palettes and a lot of the shades look similar. I love the dream colours, I wish she had made a quad including those shades. I’m looking forward to the new pillow talk lipsticks and the eyeliner. Charlotte has plenty in her collection other than pillowtalk. The new Rebel palette was something different and the blue quad she has coming out, though I don’t know when, is absolutely gorgeous and a classy way to wear blue. 💙💝💖

Erin, I personally am on the fence about this palette, I love the Pillow Talk quad and the lipstick. Have you tried the medium or darker pillow talk lipstick? I am curious about those colors. ???? I am kind of over Pillow Talk, let's move on Charlotte.
I haven't tried the deeper shades of pillow talk but they looks really pretty, especially for deeper skin tones :) xx

In my opinion if you have Charlotte Darling then you don’t need this one. But if you don’t have any of these then you better go with this one. I personally really want her Dolce Vita palette or the Bella Sofia, I think this is the new name now for the same palette. I have blue eyes.

Yes! Something you'll actually use! Those large palette are great values for the amount of product but not when you consider the waste of shades you will never touch! xx

Which palette Charlotte Tilbury Darling or Pillow Talk (larger palette), Copper Charge or Pillow Talk quad?
I guess it depends on what you're looking for but I would say the large Instant Eye palette is the way to go :) xx
Almost forgot, I own a few Pat McGrath. I must say I had a better experience and enjoyment using Charlotte's formula. Had to mention it.
I like these colors but I’ve never liked the dark clown looks. It’s like do people really think that looks good?

It’s the Hourglass! I will say, I didn’t change my face makeup when I was doing the four looks I just sort of blended around to make it work. I find that it gives great coverage but maybe it’s the shadows... I was working quickly so don’t judge it just yet! Lol I ordered the 00 from Dior and it should arrive tomorrow so I’m excited to try that one again :) xx
