CSX W003 Geometry train on the River line! (3/22/23)

I caught the W003 Geometry train going north on the CSX river line at CP13 in Dumont NJ. This train is used for precise measurements for track maintenance. This was my first time catching this on camera!

Great catch! Interesting how the automatic signal next to that crossing remained lit for a bit on your side after the train had passed it.

Thanks! That is a bit interesting, it usually turns off right after the train passes. Surprisingly CSX is in the process of changing out the signal light at CP10. I thought they just changed that not too long ago. Maybe they want new LEDs.
