Out of all the perfume critiques on UA-cam you are the one who speaks in a descriptive language that makes sense so that we know the bouquet that you're discussing.
i have the EL Beautiful Magnolia. Its so beautiful, easy to wear, crowd pleaser, safe blind buy and perfect for gift too. Whenever Im in a rush, i'll always grab my DKNY Fresh Blossom, but this is my new go-to.
I love Bvlgari Omnia Coral because pomegranate is my favorite fruit, and I usually enjoy perfumes with this note. and I also love Juliette Has A Gun Magnolia Bliss because beside the pleasant smell, it can be used in any types of weather, warm, cold, windy! and the performance is really good too! But I would categorize none of them as floral perfumes, both are a bit more fruity than floral in my opinion😊
Another great video 🤩 I mostly prefer fruity scents for the summer but recently I’ve added Issey Miyake A Drop d’Issey and A Drop d’Issey essentielle to my small collection and OMG how much I love them 🤩
I love Aerin Hibiscus Palm. What also are beautiful floral perfumes is Prada Candy Sugar Pop its like you walk in a field full of flowers only it does not last long but i dont mind respraying 😊Goldfield & Banks sunset hour is also a nice one 🧡Lovely recommandations 💐💚
Hi Soki, L👀king Good As Always Girl!! The One I'd Have To Deffo Add To Your List Is One Of My Own Personal Favourites: "ISSEY MIYAKE - L'EAU D'ISSEY Rose & Rose Edp Intense" Can't Understand The Way It's Always Over Looked By Everyone Tbh!! As It's A Stunning Rose Fragrance, And Perfect In This Hot Weather We'r All Enjoying!! 😍😘💕💖💟
I just wanna recommend the discontinued Orchid Soleil from TF. Such a beautiful creamy beach-y fragrance similar to Hibiscus Palm but OS has the edge!!
I really enjoy your videos, thank you; your descriptions and recommendations are spot on. I am delighted with a few new fragrances based on your videos: Elie Saab Le Parfum, D&G Light Blue Forever and Jimmy Choo EAU de Parfum - all gorgeous and suit different moods. Also love CH Very Good Girl and Lancome's Idol and have seen your descriptions of these. (It was agreeing with those descriptions that led me to try the new ones.) I wonder if I could suggest a 'lost love' video. As a suggestion from me, I used to love Paco Rabanne's XS pour Elle in the '90s and I wonder if there is anything similar out there now?
Hi Ruth! So pleased you’ve found those wonderful perfumes. I also loved black xs! It was so fruity and fun 🥰 maybe tresor midnight rose mixed with Britney midnight fantasy would be similar
Thank you for the reply and the recommendation! 😀 I've seen you mention Tresor Midnight Rose before and it's definitely one I like the sound of. Mixing it with Britney Midnight Fantasy sounds like something I need to try! Thank you and keep the great content going! 😀
I love Blooming bouquet, it was love at first snif. But what a disappointment on the longevity, disappeares in 2 hours. And for that price tag it's unacceptable. And I tried the eau de parfum, I can imagine the eau de toilette 🙄
Although I watch your videos often , and have for some time, and I appreciate your grasp and ability to identify notes, and have quite an acumen for distinguishing between the subtlety of different ingredients, you really miss the mark on a regular basis with the higher end perfumes. There is a distinct difference in Chanel perfumes that is not replicated in any other line. This does mean there are not other lines that are not worthy of their place in the fragrance hierarchy, but it tells me that you really don’t have a nose for distinguishing between the finer perfumes, and those of lesser quality. You most often focus on longevity and always on price (and what the bottle looks like) but if somebody really has a distinguishing Offertory ability, Chanel is always one of the few at the top. There’s hardly a time that I put on a Chanel fragrance and don’t say to myself “why in the world would I ever wear anything else? “Of course I do because I love many of my hundreds if not, thousands of different fragrances, but there’s truly a difference with Chanel - even if the actual scent is not my favorite, I can distinguish the quality. And sometimes that is the most understood with their lighter fragrances, their toilettes. . They may not last as long, but they have a quality to them that is second to none. Another example would be Tiffany & Co. You just don’t seem to be able to distinguish the quality and the difference in the Tiffany line and other perfumes that are equally marketed. And you say it with such assurance and it’s just wrong. There’s a reason why people hold Chanel in such high esteem , why Tiffany has its reputation , and their worth every penny. It’s almost as if you resent higher priced perfumes. To be painfully blunt, just because you can’t afford it, doesn’t mean it’s not worth it. I can’t imagine that you would take this as friendly criticism or constructive criticism, but it is. You are very charming. You do have talent and a gift, but you miss it on this point and I think you need to search out the reason why.
Hmm Tiffany perfumes are made by Coty. Who make escada, Kylie cosmetics etc. I think your focusing on the branding. I’m not sure I’ve ever claimed to be an olfactory expert, I just make videos to help people understand and choose perfumes 👍
@@SokiLondon Tiffany may be marketed by Coty but it is the nose behind it that matters- the creator if you will - it varies of course within a brand - but Andrier has quite a reputation - nevertheless, I stand by the fact that Chanel and others of higher quality may cost more and there is a reason why - furthermore, longevity is not always a good thing if a perfume smells bad and cheap. I like you and watch you often - but I have so often seen you do what I have referenced and here again in this video- and I felt I had to speak up about it - maybe I was wrong to do that - I only wish you success.
@@druth7969 I guess we have to agree to disagree :) Coty doesn’t just market the fragrances they own, a brand like Tiffany sells the licence and then Coty manage the end to end creation, production, distribution, sales etc.
We’ve got stuck on Tiffany - I’m aware of the process - it’s how Jean Patou’s Joy was changed forever- there’s more to it then that because there are talented perfumers still involved and who often get it right. But this is all getting technical and misses my main point. The Chanel Chance line, for example, or another is the Chanel Paris eaux de Chanel line ( i.e. Venise, Biarritz, etc ) are great examples of lighter perfumes that are clearly better quality than other brands’ lighter scents. In regards to the Chance line, Tendre may be the only notes I personally enjoy but the better quality is detectable throughout the line. Dior used to have that finer quality as well- and in most cases still does. My main point here is the ability to distinguish between cheaper, smelling perfumes, and those who have a higher quality scent. It is NOT just the brand- many famous houses have either poor representation in fragrances or they have lost their way ( Valentino for example). I am not caught up in brands but recognise the higher quality. There are other Houses, such as Creed and Penhaligon where I don’t personally want to wear many of their offerings, ( a few are favourites) but the finer quality is there. I don’t know that we can resolve this because you categorise, qualify, and make your determination based on longevity, sillage and notes, rather than distinguishing, the finer or poorer quality of the scent. And you’re right, your videos serve a great purpose, and that is sharing with other people ( primarily women) fragrances they might enjoy as well. And, you’re such a joy- people love you ! But I think this discussion carries over into many other areas. All is well - good day!
@@druth7969 I do not understand your point. Longevity, sillage and notes are very important and says a lot about the quality of a fragrance. Soki speaks also about Chanel as "a high end fragrance" in this video...

Blooming Bouquet is love at first sniff for me.❤
I’d add Lancôme Idole to this list. Nice and fresh and lasts so well.
i have the EL Beautiful Magnolia. Its so beautiful, easy to wear, crowd pleaser, safe blind buy and perfect for gift too. Whenever Im in a rush, i'll always grab my DKNY Fresh Blossom, but this is my new go-to.
Great picks!! I personally love Balenciaga Florabotanica in the humid spring early summer.
Omnia crystalline reminds me Lacoste pour femme (edp), I think it's ok for the humid weather!
I love Coach Floral Blush. It reminds me of Sky di Gioia, but much cheaper.
