I currently have an SL1 that's 15 years old so This would be a significant upgradeRe gardless of its features. I think it should have a stacked sensor. NO chance of a global sensor but we might get lucky. I hope they include the brqacketing update in the firmware for free.
My R7 with RF 100-500 is my "go to" gear for birding, better even than my R5. That said, I would upgrade to the R7 Mark II if the sensor readout improves enough to reduce rolling shutter, with a better EVF to make it easier to judge image quality on the fly. Anything else is gravy. I just had the opportunity to compare my R7 with the R10, using the same subjects and lenses. To my surprise, colour rendering, image quality and noise in the R7 were impressive. Nevertheless, I'm not optimistic about a 2025 release date, given that the Mark I was only released in May 2022. It just seems early for an upgrade, given past history.
It needs to be better in low light less grain like the R3 , and ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that rolling shutter that needs fixing. As for video just dont care.
"We are diving into the Canon R7.................... Mk II......." Stupid AL narration anyway :) lol What's so hard about finding a real person to read this stuff ??? Anyway, yea, probably nobody is more anxious for a much improved R7 Mk II than myself. I own two R7's and I love / hate these darn cameras :) lol I don't tell people they are my "best choice".... I tell people, "They are my 'only' choice" !
This was a complete waste of time!!!!!! "Release Date, Price & All Specs" Is this some kind of joke because all I see are guesses? This tactic, to get people to click and watch your video even though it fails badly, at providing what the title claims, is BS. Using your title to falsely lure people, who are looking for fact based information, is what the world calls Click Bait. Ya know it's okay not to know something, there's no dishonor in ignorance, it's a solvable problem. But claiming to know stuff you don't and getting paid for it is simply rubbish and shows a disdain for your viewers that they didn't earn. You should value their time just as you do your own.

Faster Readout speed, Battery Grip, Pre Burst, Better AF, Improved viewfinder.
I just baught the Canon R8. If this comes out, the R8 will become my second goto camera.
I hope that it turns out that way. It would be another step for me from the 600D and currently the R10.
An interesting video! Thank you!
Glad to hear!
DUAL CARD SLOTS AND AUTO FOCUS AND COLORS!!!!
