As much as I love Rob's singing and I've been a fan for years, I honestly can't say I like this cover. This is one of my favorite songs from Kansas. It lacks that dryness and strictness of the sound that hits you like a wall on every chord. This one sounds more like a glam rock or something. And it's not "metal enough" to be somewhat a modern take on the song. Still a fan, Rob, you rock man!

I ALWAYS enjoyed Yngwie's take on the classic iconic tune. Thought it was some his most brilliant stuff the first time I heard it way back on the Inspiration album. Rob does a sensational job here, as always! great work with the effects editing, and the additional musicians bring a wealth of class and panache to the mix.

enough with the wah pedal - argh-most overused effect in last 40years - it detracts from the superb skill of this guitarist ( and also hinders yngwie and esp kirk hammett) - i think wah is great for hendrix and funk , or cocked as a boost like schenker uses it - very limited for all other uses in my view .
Wah is great but can easily get overused, I was watching some Metallica the other day and I know Exactly what you mean 😂👍 thanks for your honest opinion
