You know, that is a scary thought. I remember skipping school with my two brothers and sisters to see star wars at the movies. God I feel old. Too bad Disney has turned the franchise into 💩.
@@toms.7913 Hey they've made some compelling television, when they let the writers have free reign. Yeah the movies have SUCKED but that's cause they were wrote by 4 different people who didn't know the lore, then re-written 4 more times for "reasons"
Star Wars was always meant as a tribute to older sci-fi serials and pulp comics, so this works perfectly with 50s aesthetics. The only difference would probably be that Luke would be 35, since youth, especially during the rise of "teenagers" were seen as too rebellious to contribute anything of worth.
Oh yes, i remember these classic star wars movies well, when they came out in 1952, it was opening night, i had just got my new winged tiped galoshes and i talked dad in to lending me his desoto, so i could take my sweety gloria to the drive in.... but seriously, i was actually born in 1969 and never got to go to a drive in, but its nice to imagine😊😊😊
50s Princess Leia is definitely hot. Not to take a thing away from the gorgeous Carrie Fisher, actually this version wisely stayed close to the original❤️
My ultimate fantasy is to one day be able to play some kind of RPG like skyrim that is able to procedurally generate the whole world, including quests, npcs, personalities, voices, conversations, storylines, etc. A never ending playground. I hope it happens before I die.
… "Filmed in Panavision" means that an anamorphic Panavision lens was used and that the (anamorphic) attribute together with an aspect ratio entry of 2.35 : 1
Just one problem: Star Wars wasn't called "A New Hope" when it was first released in 1977, it was just called Star Wars. The Episode IV: A New Hope subtitle was added for the 1979 rerelease. And Jabba the Hutt wasn't seen until Return of the Jedi.
I didn't think these would get old this quickly but they are. But on the other hand I'd like to see a whole movie in this fashion. I won't be long before that happens only there will probably be multiple versions of it.
If Star Wars had come out in the 1950's it would be far more campy than it already is. Besides that, Star Wars could of only come from the mind of kid who grew up watching Buck Rogers in the 50's.
Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back - 1950's = ua-cam.com/video/LrOosk_5p3w/v-deo.html
Jabba is slimming down. He looks good. I’ll bet he’s on Ozembic.
I didn't need to see Jabba nipples though.
Still the Hut boobs.
They didn’t have ozempic in the 1950’s in a galaxy far far away yet!😅
Dat cracks me up . . .😂
Semaglutide is not that hard to synthesis A.I. could do it
The 50's were much closer to the release of Star wars than we are now

It's got THE FORBIDDEN PLANET and the DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL movie look, now with 50% more glitter.
Yes, Star Wars: A New Hope...in more glitter.
Well when you're inputting stuff like that with the text prompts, yeah!
Good call,nailed it.
Yeah, a little too much glitter.
Still better than Disney ^^
Star wars : "A new woke" That Is the Great new production for Disney 😂😂😂
That's such a low bar...
That wouldn't be difficult to pull off
10,000x better 🤘

Luke looks like he smokes half a pack of Lucky Strikes each day! Han looks like he chain-smokes Camels!
Thats exactly how its supposed to be. Dude, i had a 30 square feet area, marked as non smoking area, inhaling everything in the room.
😅
Death sticks
Back in the 50's that was considered a 'light' smoker
'BANTHA' cigarettes.
The popular tobacco brand on tatooine. 🐏👍🏻/🐪👎🏻
Way better then all the Disney movies!

@@javiercortes5232His comment is an example of a whining baby!
I would rather watch this on loop for ten hours than five minutes of any sequel trilogy film
Well, its certainly better than the prequels, lol.
Nobody cares...
👍
That means you need help.
Dude! We on the same page! 🤣🤣🤣
I now want to see a full movie of this!
Can you imagine if it’s locked away somewhere with a different name! This would be epic!
I like how chewwie and yoda are just themselves with no changes LOL
I was thinking the same thing. They're already 50's-ish sci-fi.
Yoda be popping in New Hope!! 😀
how did you feel about jabbas changes :s
i did like yoda and chewie
Except Yoda wasn't actually in A New Hope.
Vader looks like a kitchen machine from the 50s .... absolutely gorgeous!
It does! 😂
Jabba's nipples are freaking me out. Also, Obi Wan looks more like Palpatine in this version.
Right! I mean, for real? What's up with dat 😂
Thought it was just me
Molluscs don't have nipples!
😂😂😂
Glad I didn’t have to say it.
In the 1950s Luke's hair would've been a duck's ass style. Han's hair would've most likely been a crewcut.
“Tarkin: Enough of this. Vader, release him!
Vader: By your command.”
@timeodaneosetdona , Glad I'm not the only one who thought this! Vader really DOES look like an early prototype for the 70s BSG Cylons.
Jabba, like most everyone else back then, was a lot slimmer in the 1950s!
It was the chain-smoking....
@@sephirahisui ROFLMAO!
Did he always have nipples?
Definitely cigarettes
He was much younger 😂
I loved this! If the whole movie was done this way, it would be epic!!!!!
Looks so much better than it would have looked if actually made in 50s!
0:42 Luke actually looks a lot like Anakin.
awesome. These cinema age conversions really hit the mark. Could absolutely believe this is what SW ANH would look like in early 1950s
@@jamesgrist1101 thanks my friend :)
Nailed the 50's aesthetic.
I would absolutely LOVE to see this in a full movie
This blows away any of the Disney versions. Even 5 minutes of this is more fun than Episodes 7 thru 9..
I love these, takes me back to childhood watching these old sci-fi movies 😍
30 year olds looked 50 something back then.
If kubrick have made this in the 50’s
It will look like if were made in the 2010’s
God damn, that man was way ahead of his time
Imagine if this was the version we got in 1977.
If this was a completed film on Blue Ray I would definitely buy it!
Thank the gods there's still folks out there using the superior AV quality of physical media 😁👍
Unfortunately we're a dying breed
this needs to come out in theatres
1:38 better than hours upon hours of Disney Star Wars
Gotta admit that was pretty cool!

This AI stuff is making me extremely uncomfortable.
Why? Its just another tool to use. Like a hammer or a gun. Depends on who's using it, and for what reason.
It's called the uncanny valley. AI attempts at animating faces will do it every time.

Everything looks awesome in this trailer. I love it. C3PO in particular.
Thank you my friend 🤠

These shorts are just incredible! Will there ever be some real full length movies completed in this production style? Give me anything! ❤❤❤
Next year or two for sure
So, Jabba is a mammal. Who knew.
I'm thinking more amphibious.
Jaba means ftog in many Slavic languages. Chewbacca like cobaka (sobaka) means dog in Russian.
