Maybe so but my experience of NV you can get a lot of IR bounce back from long vegetation. You do get better target recognition with NV though. I have put sizeable holes in foxes before and they've ran on considerable distances despite being hit in the engine room.
@@foxer159 Fair point, lights went out pretty sharpish as they say. Personally if I were using that scope I’d be worried about ID (especially in an area where there are houses, so cats and dogs). Would like to see a fox sized dog at that range through the scope just to put my mind at ease if it were me using it. I’m sure through scope rather than video you can tell. Cats and dogs don’t move like a fox either, or respond to squeaks in the same way. I’m sure you know your stuff, I’m not having a dig.
Great result Trev that ground is certainly proving productive for you mate.
Thanks Jim, yeah it's a little gold mine 👍
Cowardly, addicted , itchy triggerfingered , midnight cowboy,....
Well done, you had a great evening clearing a few of them up.
Thanks buddy, yes that ground certainly holds a lot of foxes.
An excellent video mate, well done.
Geoff.
Many thanks, pleased you enjoy my videos 👍
Ground control we had a problem but sorted now, well done
Thanks buddy 👍
Nice shooting mate cheers love watching your videos cheers mate
Thanks for watching Kevin and supporting my channel. Pleased I keep you entertained.👍
I think NV would be a better option than thermal on the scope. The first 2 didn’t drop as they ought to have done as you missed the engine room.
