- Hi everyone!!
We are so happy to be back from our honeymoon and back on UA-cam! Expect to see more videos in the next 2 weeks since we are in quarantine and have so much more time together. We hope you enjoy this advice video and don’t forget to leave your advice in the comments section as well!
As always, thank you for all the love and support. We’ll see you guys in the next one iA ❤️

I LOVE how refreshing and honest and unapologetically Muslim you are! Like it’s so easy to condone or agree or even fall into this narrative but I love how you stand by your views as Muslim and promote the Islamic way of doing things. This is what we, the Muslim youth, need to hear, need to aspire to and it’s so inspirational! Well done on you guys for being such great role models.
You took the words out of my mouth!! I admire this about them ❤️
As a rare perspective, my husband and I started off in a haram relationship. I was a white American Christian gone atheist using Tinder when I found my husband through Tinder. We went on a few dates and as the relationship grew, I started to do research on his middle eastern culture to learn and understand him and his family better and found Islam and converted a few months after our marriage. I got him back into praying and being more dedicated to god along with his mother and brother. I am by no means saying all haram relationships can turn good, but sometimes god works in mysterious ways. So overall, know yourself and know your partner. A good indicator is how you describe them: partner, boyfriend/girlfriend, lover, friend with benefits, etc.
Yessss..so happy for you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow, alhamdullilah - thats amazing😍
To add to your perspective with my own similar story....
I met my husband at work and dated for like 4 years... Neither of us were interested in the next step until I found Islam for myself which kind of forced him to get back on the straight path. That really was the turning point...within a year of me converting I moved out (to not live in sin), we brought our parents into the mix to meet each other, and got married. Marriage wasn't part of the initial plan but once you kind of stop fighting the "right thing" the right things tend to just fall in place!
Alhamdulillah for everything! Wishing everyone well!
I had a very similar experience! Grew up in an Italian Catholic household (going to Catholic school and everything) and met my now husband out one night with my girlfriends. Grew to understand more about Islam while we dated and converted right before we decided to get married. And every day we each grow in our faith, as I learn so does he and it has only brought us closer. So yes God does work in mysterious ways!!
I totally agree as a Muslim woman
I’m 19, no haram relationship Al Hamdullilah, but not because I purposely avoid it but because no one wants me 😂😂😂 and honestly I am really happy about that
Haha I love this comment 😂💗 i feel the same exact way
God made us in pairs!
@@CANDY152POP It will happen when it will in sha Allah ! Let’s just enjoy our single journey with our parents and friends for now 😂
@@sohanashinwar3074 True !
Same girl same. Not that nobody wants us but I think we make ourselves not available. We avoid these things for example girls with a clear profile (selfie) on instagram will be getting a lot of DMs but if you consiously choose to not do it, you will not get a lot of DMs. Its a matter of decision
You guys do such a great job of covering these topics in a respectful and realistic manner. On behalf of the whole ummah, thank you!!! MashaAllah.
As a christian I really appreciate this video. I live in the Netherlands and unfortunately sexual immorality has become totally normal in this society. And it makes it even harder for people who want to obey God and live a righteous life to find a partner who has the same values. I always pray to God to protect me from temptations and to give me patience to wait for the right man.
Hey, ind helemaal met je eens! :)

Godzegen💕
Am happy I am not the only person who also doesn't want to date, am 14 and I don't plan on dating until I find the one I want to marry.
Umm I am the exact same age lol
I’m really happy u are thinking like that I’m 16 now and I had this thought since 13 and until now I’m still not dating it’s better actually for ur mental health 🤷🏻♀️
Haxi yeah definitely then there is no heart break
Girl I was 14 too, wait till u turn 16 or 17 and see how life changes and the tests u are given. I’m sure u will pass, but one u reached that point u will be able to understand what some have to go through, and how to protect yourself from it
@@meowmeow669 uhh I've already gone through some, but I thank god I have one mindset and goals I want to achieve, may God chooses the best for us.
I find jasmine so much like me I'm 19 never dated I always have this maturity and learnt from my frnds experiences and I'm glad I have the sense alhamdulilah.
Say no more ladies let a real gentlemen do his job 🙂
Same here
Sooo truuee I agree...I learn from my friends experiences and I'm 18
I understood from my past that, every haram step we take, even it's very tiny, we will have to pay for it emotionally in the future. It really hurts. And after that we learn and come back to Allah.
I’m on the same mindset as Jasmine. I’m 21, most of my friends had experiences and I have never. Like Jasmine, i saw how their experiences went and how heartbroken some of them were and it is enough for me to avoid those type of relationships. It really depends on your temper i guess, some people need to live to experience (and it is life) to learn and it’s completely normal as humans to make mistakes. Love your video and the way you explain your POV. Thank you for being unfiltered ❤️
I like Dawoud's perspective he's very open minded
👌👌👌
Same here i love his mindset! So modern and mature. We need more men like him!! Emotionally mature and stable. He is REAL AND GENUINE AND FUNNY HAHAHAHA
Yes, I always notice that people who have made a mistake before have the softest hearts. Doesn’t mean Jasmine doesn’t, but when you’ve learned and matured you have a different perspective for sure!
And handsome as well. I keep looking at him everytime they both talk. Jasmine is very pretty. But l am a girl, so l turn to Dawood LOL.

and it's not only these things, but its any good deed that will benefit people even after your death!
thanks for posting this 5 months ago!😊
Thanks
I really appreciate how honest Dawood is :) its really humbling to see that he admits that people make mistakes and its not too late to fix it!
Off topic, but I've been trying to figure out who Dawoud looks like... he looks like a crossover between Ryan Gosling & Calvin Harris! It is so weird!!! Lmao you guys are such a cute couple!!!
He looks like neither lol
Kind of does hahaha never thought about that😅
Yessss!! You’re absolutely right .
Omg you're so right, I keep thinking he looks familiar but could never pinpoint who he reminds me off 🤣
Yessss calvin harris
These conversations are so important no matter what age. There are people that live in isolated communities and don’t have the right people around them to guide them towards Allah. So thank you for putting out encouraging and informative videos like this!
I'm 15 and YESS I agree my friends or girls at school are so busy chasing boys even though they know it's not okay in Islam. Alhamdulillah Im not like that now but it's so easy to slip when everyone is doing it. May Allah swt protect us and forgive us if we have done it🌺
Lol we are so similar sis
@@bintajadamaa ikr, i actually in my video talk about thus ua-cam.com/video/xhf-6eB0jlw/v-deo.html 😅
When you are ready, have a mahram with you inshAllah . I don’t think they’re mentioning that because they didn’t no. May Allah swt make finding a spouse easy for you
Thank you for encouraging halal relationships ! All the youth sees is the Western type of relationships and they think its ok to be that way but it's not . Definetly has to be talked about 👏
Coming from a 17 year old
@Abdul-Haqq Watch the video !
@Abdul-Haqq right am still confused on the halal relationship? does anyone know excatly what is halal relationship?
@Abdul-Haqq well, in today's world 'halal relationship' is anything that is not trending at the moment I guess...
Youths of now days will go on dinners without their parents knowledge, texting excessively, sending photos to each other etc.
There are so many things that have become normal now a days, which Islamically it is not. Just my two cents 😁
omg y’all should have a podcast at this point PLEASSSEEE
YES
This relationship advice is good for many people..... a bad relationship can ruin your life
You got that right
I love how you guys explained this topic so well and gave some great advice, thank you 💗
Thank you for being authentic and real talking about this topic🙏🏾
Literally discovered your channel about a month ago and honestly Its been the best thing! You guys are so lovely and soft spoken Masha Allah! Lots of love from the UK ❤️💕🇬🇧🇬🇧
Not Muslim but I like to watch your videos. I’m Mexican and catholic and a lot of these things have been taught to me. I enjoy watching these videos because it helps me keep my hopes up, at 22 I have never brought any boy to my house, I’ve learned to avoid temptation, I’ve lost hope to find someone worth of my time but these videos bring me hope. ❤️ it’s hard to find someone with this mindset especially in my community...
Dont lose hope sister, good women are for good men. I too think to myself that's its going to be hard to find a wife that thinks like me but I pray to Allah and I put my full trust on Him. Everyone gets tested in different ways
You got this sis! God will send you the right man one day! Stay strong💕 fellow Catholic here c:
Good women are for good men ~ a portion of a verse in the Quran but just because it's found in the Quran, doesn't mean it only applies to Muslims. So dont worry, good will come your way. Stay committed and stay safe. Lots of love, from the UK x
@@Levi-xu8dg yeahh thats the verse I was on about. Accidentally worded it different, may Allah forgive me but thank you so much for the correction. I've edited it now🥰

@@evaindriyana4539 wow 😳 70 like
I loveeee how you guys address such a fragile topic which honestly is difficult to discuss, with so much ease and kindness ❤️❤️. I'm thankful for both of you!!. Love you both so much❤️
Jasmine, habibti, you are such an inspiration. I love how Allah (swt) rewarded you in the end after avoiding the whole dating scene. As a woman around your age, I can testify that dating is a complete waste of time. I get that some people cannot live without a significant other, but as Muslims, our ultimate purpose is to preserve Allah’s word. If you are patient enough, you will live to see a much better tomorrow.
I appreciate you educating your audience about this topic since a lot of people don’t talk about this it as often
Jasmine and Dawoud, this was such a great video and much needed discussion! I absolutely agree that these temptations are difficult to curb (most of us have experienced these things) and having these conversations, from the perspective of big bro/big sis (and without judgment, in a proper islamic manner), will help our youth immensely. I think both of your experiences are valid, as I was someone who not only learned from my own experiences (when younger and now searching for a spouse), but also from others' experiences as well (red flags to look for, types of behaviors to avoid, etc.). I think a mix of both experiences is valuable, but best to avoid things before they get deeper (great point in the vid!). Kudos to you Jasmine for knowing what you wanted! Made me reflect on past experiences and how I am dealing with relationships now. Loved this video, was so well thought out and good points!
It is so hard to find a guy who follows God today! Today all the guys just want to sleep around and not having any relationships or get married. And a lot of men don't believe in God anymore. It's so hard to find decent people!
I 100% agree! hopefully we find someone who is :))
I hope that Allah makes the right choice for you
Same can be said for alot of girls
completely agree! Even finding a man who doesn’t play games and finding a man who is real.
I dated vicariously through Taylor Swift growing up - I learned what not to do from her, girl saved me some good heartbreak. I also can say I (vicariously) dated Harry Styles and it was halal (it’s called listening to 1989)
a muslim swiftie here as well 🥰😌✌🏻
YASSSSSS
Just wanted to let this out there for the youth ,
' You can learn about a woman from the same woman you're gonna wife, you don't have to be dealing with different women. So if you want to have a healthy serious relationship with your future one, just maturely prepare to learn from your person throughout
No one:
Dawoud: YOU'RE BEING TESTED
I'm absolutely loving these advice videos as they're extremely helpful and eye-opening. Thank you for being so open and honest, especially about your own personal experiences! I can't tell you guys how much I've learnt and benefited from your videos. Please keep them coming. 💞
I admire people who never change their morals and values just to fit in. You guys have very strong iman mashallah!! ❤️❤️
I’m 23 and I will get married next year inshallah.
Some people laugh at me when they asked me if I haven’t lose my virginity yet but it’s all good I only care about how Allah is satisfied with me and I love it I’m not suffering it’s been a beautiful journey so far and happy with my life.

Man! You guys are so good!
My perspective of life changed so much after witching your videos!
Much support to you both!🙌😍
This video, and all of your other sit down videos, are so clear and organized, and you explain it in a way that people won't think is controversial, because the topic shouldn't be controversial. And you explain in a way that people will be attracted to Islam or the right way.
Wow, I really needed this being a guy with a lot of options. Thank you guys for real! 🌹
Jasmine is a real scholar on this subject. Love this thank you both and love you guys💕💕
Love how articulate Yasmin is💓
I really appreciate that u took time to talk about modern problems and try to give pieces of advice it's really nice and helpful especially in this time where everyone think it's okay to do what everyone is doing *haram dating, drinks, tattoos... *
love your guys’ advice videos!!
I definitely regret my decisions. I’m so glad to come across this video even tho it was somewhat to late for me. You two are wonderful Mashallah🤗
Thank you for this video! Honestly needed it, sometimes I feel tired of seeing everyone being in haram relationships and I just want to give it all up and think "damn, if they all go to Heaven doing all of that, why couldn't I?" but watching your videos reminds me of what is truly right, so thank you for that:)
I really loved this video! This is one of the few videos where I genuinely felt like jumping in and joining the convo. I hope to find a partner that I could have long conversations about religion and topics like this. ❤️💖
i am 29 i have never dated i had that strength to go against the flow .alhamdu li allah
Are you married now, where you from?
Willpower, the ability to control oneself and determine one’s actions, displaying self-control within and without is necessary in life👍
Love you guys ♥️🇹🇳 your advice videos are really the best
thank you so much jasmine and dawoud ❤️ this video is so helpful for all people (teenagers especially) who are struggling with haram relationships. thank you for talking about it with both of you’re perspectives, god bless 💓
I just wanted to thank you both for helping me on my spiritual journey. I look at relationships and dating in a whole different way now and have more respect for myself and my body. Thank you for speaking your truth and for helping to bring more purity and love into the world. ❤️
I really love the video! thank you Jasmine & Dawoud
I can totally relate to Jasmine's way. Because whenever I hear someone's relationship and what goes wrong I kinda leave a mental note on my head. It really helps. no need to go through it also
Also, about learning from your friends to not make the same mistakes, there's soo much content online, books to help you and prepare you for that serious halal relationship, like just look for advice on marriage on reddit lol. If they're open to talk about it, or just by observing them you can learn a lot from your parents' relationship. However, of course, you'll still be faced with your own set of challenges in your marriage, you'll fail, say things that will hurt the other but you'll learn along the way. You just need to be patient and understanding with each other, communicate honestly and just leave the rest to Allah! Love you guys :), May Allah bless you
I really appreciate your advice! Would you guys talk more about maybe trying to get back into praying more and how your journey with prayer has been?
I LOVE THAT YOU GUYS TALK ABOUT STUFF LIKE THIS! JAZKALLAH KHAIR SO MUCH!
This is fantastic. Great advice for the youth. Keep growing 🤗
Jazakallah Khair for this very beautiful reminder. I think this was very important for many of us. You both gave such great facts about Islam that I now appreciate! May Allah keep you both happy in life and keep you guided like this! :))))))
I really needed this Bec I was avoiding a guy and now I have reasons for it!
Thanks guys for being so mindful about it.
May you be rewarded for your good advice in both worlds InshA.
Thank u so much for this nice topic 👏🏻 I love how both of u talked about ur individual opinion freely🌸 keep going ❣️❣️
I love how theyre so non judgemental and open ❤️
You guys sound like my husband and I. I matured earlier and learnt from the mistakes of others around me. Whereas my husband made a few mistakes along the way and then found me. We were each others first and only relationship. It's definitely better to avoid harm things and stick to doing things in a halal way. Alhamduillah we've been married for 5 years now.
Guys are like that, they go for the experience. And things go wrong. Very happy for you.
I totally agree with you jasmine. Me too also learning from other people’s mistakes . 👀👀 hopefully I found right soulmate for me.
Wonderful perspectives
I like how you guys debate things out rather than just repeating and saying what the other one says. This is called co-existance!
Btw congrats @jasmine .. I think you got a beautiful tan from your vacation! ♥️
I am 36 and I have avoided zina as much as I could so far. After a while u get used to it. Temptations are always there and im not a saint but I have managed to avoid it. I want it to be with the one love of my life. She will come whenever she does. Allah tests each of us in different ways. But u reach to a higher level of serenity and conciousness that you are always aware of God's presence.
God protect you bro!
May Allah protect you and find you the right spouse that fulfills your deen and reunite you in Jannah, InshaAllah!
May Allah give you a righteous spouse !keep it halal Allah will reward with you with things you never imagine Inshaallah 😁😊😊
