I think guys assume period cramps aren’t that bad bc we’ve built a tolerance to it. We have to deal with it all the time during work, school, etc. so we get used to just putting up with the pain and still having to do other tasks. Whereas guys don’t experience getting hurt in that area for a week every single month so every time it happens they can’t handle the pain. Not that it doesn’t hurt but probably if guys had to deal with that for as long as girls deal with period cramps, they’d get used to it like we did.

In asian/ pakistani culture i know from experience some men think the women should do everything around the house and the man is the king but even the prophet would help out in the house. Hi , just a thought on that question (12:13) , I believe that analogy is good enough (maybe): if we suppose that getting hit down there is like having a really heavy bowling ball fly into your stomach (sudden paralyzing pain) then the period will be like having that bowling ball pressed on your stomach for days (a little less painful but goes for a long while) and giving birth in that scenario could be like that bowling ball deciding to keep bouncing on your stomach (you're getting hit over and over) but because pain is not just described by intensity but by duration too (among other things) then yes , the period is worse than getting hit down there (a few seconds of agony are better than days of marginally less intense pain don't you think?)

I think guys assume period cramps aren’t that bad bc we’ve built a tolerance to it. We have to deal with it all the time during work, school, etc. so we get used to just putting up with the pain and still having to do other tasks. Whereas guys don’t experience getting hurt in that area for a week every single month so every time it happens they can’t handle the pain. Not that it doesn’t hurt but probably if guys had to deal with that for as long as girls deal with period cramps, they’d get used to it like we did.

It’s so true! I used to do the laundry for my family after I had children because I am a stay at home mom. But I got fed up because my SON when he was about 12, instead of putting away his folded clean clothes that was on his bed, they would fall on the floor and get mixed up with dirty clothes. After the third time I found FOLDED CLEAN CLOTHES in the hamper🤬 I said , that’s it no more! You are doing your own laundry from now on! He did and I haven’t done it since. He is now 21. AND THE BEST PART? His younger sisters thought it was so cool that he got to do his OWN laundry that they wanted to do theirs also. HAHA WIN WIN!!!!!!!

In asian/ pakistani culture i know from experience some men think the women should do everything around the house and the man is the king but even the prophet would help out in the house. Its actually the mums fault too coz for example my grandma would ask a girl to get up and do something even if shes 5 years old but not ask a guy to do it. Its just their mentality which i always bring up but they're not willing to change.

Hi , just a thought on that question (12:13) , I believe that analogy is good enough (maybe):
if we suppose that getting hit down there is like having a really heavy bowling ball fly into your stomach (sudden paralyzing pain)
then the period will be like having that bowling ball pressed on your stomach for days (a little less painful but goes for a long while)
and giving birth in that scenario could be like that bowling ball deciding to keep bouncing on your stomach (you're getting hit over and over)
but because pain is not just described by intensity but by duration too (among other things) then yes , the period is worse than getting hit down there (a few seconds of agony are better than days of marginally less intense pain don't you think?)
