is it allowed to activate the 4L and Diff Lock after you got in trouble? or do you need to activate before? I had a situation that there was no power anymore. no traction in any of the wheels an a little bit of cracking when tried to change from forward to backward driving.

What was your issue do you know? I'm looking at a dmax but not sold on the 4wd system?
Yeah that is the advantage of difflock
