The Base denotes which number system the number belongs to the 2 raised to the power 4 belonged to the decimal number system while the other belonged to the binary number system so 2 raised to the power 4 had to be converted to binary so as to make the subtraction possible.
To perform subtraction with binary numbers, my process involves converting them to their decimal equivalents, conducting the subtraction in decimal, and then converting the result back into binary.😅😅
look keeru ..................the 2's complement is so easy....1st the given binary code is 11011 now the base or the radix is 2............as per the explained formula here, n=5 (since the number of digits is 5) N= 11011 (the given problem) r=2 (since its a binary code) so, it becomes 2 to the power of 5 minus 11011 it becomes : 32-11011 as 32 is the binary code we need to change it to binary term bye code conversion now, it becomes : 100000 - 11011 = 101
