Priests join us at The Hole, our fav new enclave nestled in the heart of West Oakland, and play us five sonically and emotionally charged treatises. Everything from the lonesome guitar sound to the frantically grooving drums is pitch perfect and timeless. Katie’s lilt is sonorous, but check out drummer Daniele’s delirious rant in No Big Bang. I have watched this video over and over every couple months for over a year. One of my favorite live performances on video ever. The vocals throughout are just so well mixed and gorgeous. I'll never forget when 00:34 hit the first time.
