It’s ok to have moments that you remember someone when something triggers, and taking a moment and try not to have a meltdown is ok… I remember my first Christmas after my husband passed and I was at Costco and I picked up a chocolate box and immediately spun around to my mom and said oh my I was forever looking for these, he is going to love it,.. my mom ask who would love it?.. “Ronnie of course”… (my late husband).. I just stop dead in my tracks and the tears flowed.. I did catch myself but I was gutted… I guess he was on my mind.. which is ok… means I have him with me everyday.. regardless….. hugs to you remembering your dad…

Grief is funny that way. We just never know what little things will trigger a memory and remind us that our loved one is no longer here. Just be in the moment and feel what you need to feel. I'm still in a bit of shock about the bridge collapse. I've watched the video so many times and it's just seems so odd to me how it even happened. I'm not a conspiracy nut and I'm not a captain, but I have a lot of questions about the whole thing. I understand that once they manage to pull all the debris out that it's supposed to be safe for ships to come back in, and the rebuilding of the bridge will obviously take longer. So sad.
