What you have to keep in mind about being spring loaded is yes it'll help you going up but on the way down you'll be fighting the spring and hits will be weaker
Y'all have to remember too, this gives extreme precision allowing to get precise cuts on wood size. Also it's a lot easier to push that down then to swing an ax.
Matthew Gardner Kinda agree after years ago seeing someone split their leg, rather than the log with an axe, what a mess that axe made 😵, this tool while more tiring defiantly has a use.
The Chopper 1 Splitting Axe is the best splitting maul I have used. It is a unique looking maul. I think you would like using it as you like innovative and different types of "gadgets"
Taras I am a bit older. What I like to use on that wood that doesn't split easy. Soft wood. I use a wedge and a hammer. I always keep an extra wedge for those times when it just doesn't want to split and then your wedge is in the wood. Than you grab the second one and follow the crack. But for hard wood stick to the splitting mall. And most pine you can use a big ax.
It's a good concept, but it would be better if it was built more like a t-post driver, where most of the weight is at the top giving more leverage. 2 handles on the sides would also make it a lot easier to use
I guess it's good to use as a back up in case your maul breaks or is misplaced, like an emergency splitter, i can see it being useful if you took it camping and you chop your own wood for the campfire or something but that's my guess
You should really do a camping series of like 3 parts. You can go out in the woods and use all of the gadgets that you have reviewed. i think it would be pretty cool
I'm glad you posted this. Unfortunately it looks like anyone would spend much more energy using that tool vs a good splitting maul. Better to hone your skill with a good axe.
Oh man too close to the device had to use once to sink fence posts into the ground, but it's an interesting concept. thanks for showing these different splitting tools. It's quite nice being able to point my Nieces boyfriend to them (or any of your tool review videos) so he doesn't have to admit he went to a female for advice to his buddies.
Thats like a splitting wedge...but complicated. Hit the wedge with the backside of a heavy axe or a maul. Less energy needed, less strength needed. The thing from the video only makes sense if you want to combine exercise (as in doing more than needed) with splitting...
Hey taras that looks like a good way to split logs... but same time verry tiring work....alot of effort to split logs like that. But that tool does look heavy duty and pretty durable too. U get it done one way or another. If it works for you. Have a great day taras. You are awesome! Boom! 💣💥🖒🏼😊
I like how the video didn't have a long intro, he just went right into testing, first time viewer, impressed

whats the point of this ? when with normala axe u can split in 1-2 hits..
Ponas Incognito its pretty safe
It could be easier for people who aren't strong enough to use an axe for a very long time.
Ponas Incognito it's like a dull pencil
No point
Ponas Incognito saver
did you watch his other splitter vid? like normal he shows different types and gives his opinions of them.
Y'all have to remember too, this gives extreme precision allowing to get precise cuts on wood size. Also it's a lot easier to push that down then to swing an ax.

Thank you for trying this out for me. I was thinking it wasn't efficient. You saved me the time to find out!
You be the judge = it's terrible
Just say"BOOM" and it's all good
XGC Scrappy lol
Seems like hard work compared to a well-designed splitting axe/maul.
How come your vids are right away 1080p but other UA-camrs start off at 360p🤔
Mark flores hes a hacker
Mark flores shorter videos need less time
Kogehame Csatorna or schedule
That’s Russian WiFi strong asf
with the force of communism everything is possible
If i had a ranch like Taras, i would go chop wood and split logs all the time. That must be an amazing workout!
I could see this being useful in situations where you didn't have space to swing an axe

When are you going camping with all your gadgeks ? 🤔🤔
Jack Gregory xD
funny
I VILL MAEK PASHTEAT VITH MAI GADJEKS
I can split it using normal axe with one hit.
alikatek zthe point is to give it more precision.
ByeHai or just practice
ByeHai then use a wedge and a maul
Or you know AIM!
Yes , but ein think the boys under us,are more trained in jerking then Taras , so we just need one hit.
It's a good concept, but it would be better if it was built more like a t-post driver, where most of the weight is at the top giving more leverage. 2 handles on the sides would also make it a lot easier to use
What brand of rubber boots are those?
It's quite an interesting tool to have, I guess it's advantage would be that you have more control and accuracy of where you want to cut.
I guess it's good to use as a back up in case your maul breaks or is misplaced, like an emergency splitter, i can see it being useful if you took it camping and you chop your own wood for the campfire or something but that's my guess
Please show us the buggy you drive to those sort of destinations
There are no good comments at first 😞😞😞
What type of gloves are those, they look cool. Does any body know?
Can you review electric log splitter?
Where did you get that splitter?
Hey where you get those Gloves I like Neon please where you get ?
I have the same work gloves! Only ones that come in size XXL! Love my gloves.
What gloves are those?
Crazy Russian Log Splitter...

''How cool is that?''
Monty Python, The Bonzo Dog Band and The Rutles I hope you know it's the same person...
Huh? Who is crazy russian hacker? This is taras the log splitter
Producers or name of that nice gloves pls. Thx from Germany.
You should really do a camping series of like 3 parts. You can go out in the woods and use all of the gadgets that you have reviewed. i think it would be pretty cool
How exactly would it being spring loaded help?
You need the fiskars x27 or fiskars 8lb isocore maul. Or build a coil spring log splitter
One thing nobody has mentioned is that you could have 2 smaller people working together with it where they couldn't swing a maul on their own.
You should review the splits-all wood splitter
Where can i buy that logsplitter guy?
I'm glad you posted this. Unfortunately it looks like anyone would spend much more energy using that tool vs a good splitting maul. Better to hone your skill with a good axe.
Looks great Taras very useful for the young one
That is a really interesting splitting tool
Never seen logsplitter like that. Like.
Hallo du Kartoffel
Hallo, Ich bin eine Kartoffel. That's what she said
Potato gadjeckt to make vodka?
Hallo, Ich bin eine Kartoffel. Ich werd dich essen ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Hey we got the same background
Can you do a won splinter series of you reviewing wood spilters
Just purchased one, they work well. Under $25 at Harbor Freight.
Poplar is a super soft wood too try using that thing on cherry or ash you wouldn't have a chance
Your the best taras, keep up the awesome videos!
What type of gloves is he wearing
Where can I get one of those
I'm too lazy. I like my hydraulic splitter the best lol
Yeah, the concept is super cool...
Is that the same shirt or a different one
You should check out the Splitz-all system.
Taras please do a video showing us round your forest/garden
WHERE I CAN BUY THIS?
it's nice to see alternatives, good video
you know the boots that the CrazyRussianHacker always where's well all Russians in Army wear them too!
you'd be a good engineer in the army, you use the same motion for pounding pickets. 10/10 hip thrusts👌
I love these kind of content!!
Does this work on GEORGE SOROS???
The best part of the video was when he said boom
Oh man too close to the device had to use once to sink fence posts into the ground, but it's an interesting concept. thanks for showing these different splitting tools. It's quite nice being able to point my Nieces boyfriend to them (or any of your tool review videos) so he doesn't have to admit he went to a female for advice to his buddies.
ye thats all good but why are ur hands so shaky?
I wish you would make a video on saws or axes for cutting down trees
When he achieved something, he said boom.
Cheaper than going to a gym and you get all that fresh air.
Do a ride/review on the can
Pretty good workout product.
Might work good on straight poplar or other soft wood ...
Onde comprar?
Be nice if it was loaded with preacher so you hold it above release the thing and boom log split. Push it back in and boom.
You should do a video on cool gadgets and accessories for your Can Am RZR!👍🏻😀
Great vid Taras in my opinion the splitting mull is way better because you use up less time and energy
Next video about bees should be melting bees xD😂😂
Thats like a splitting wedge...but complicated.

I like automatic hydraulic log splitters mine is 27tons of force
2:50 **look at the top of his head** **genuine lafs** 😂😂😂😂😂
Might work well for cedar kindling.
Hey taras that looks like a good way to split logs... but same time verry tiring work....alot of effort to split logs like that. But that tool does look heavy duty and pretty durable too. U get it done one way or another. If it works for you. Have a great day taras. You are awesome! Boom! 💣💥🖒🏼😊
The design of that seems simple enough to cut and weld to be longer. Put a weight on the back of it too.
If there is ever a zombie apocylpce Taras is definitely ready
That thing looks good for really tall logs that are just to much for your swing.
My axe is thick like that splitter, so its like having 3 of those stacked on the top of the handle sideways and it cuts in one hit every single time
Can you bring back science experiments taras please leave like if you agree
an axe or maul would be easier
captainnemo trite n true
Im never gonna split wood a day in my life. Why am I watching this lol.
Stil waiting for crazyRussianhacker colab!
How much land does he own?
its 2:56 am and im watching a russian split logs
Good job THANK YOU for showing
That is a awesome can am commander.
Taras probably has the same " bee-shirt" from about 8 days ahah
why would you wish a spring ? that makes no sense ! greetings from bavaria
FruchtSafari Gonzo He probably meant spring loaded, so you could shoot the wedge into the log. lol
I like this easier and safer for kids wanting to help out
It looks like a lot more work than an axe.
Want to see you try with red oak
Sadist! *:)*
Or morning wood. lol
Grease would help.I just looked at one two days ago.
I used to split approximately 50 cords of wood a year. Hydraulic splitter is the only thing that makes sense!
Real men: one hit & split. Its called an axe comrade
Thumbs up for the Hard Work!!
looks like a lot more work and a few more blisters than an axe
