      It sounds like you might need to be rescued from the cold weather coming your way 😅 sounds like the UK has a cold winter coming

    I simply line the basket with finer wire, then mount them on unshredded cocunut husk (which retains a lot of moisture after an intial soak). I then surround it with a few more (closely placed but not tightly packed) pieces in the basket so they can 'spread'. They seem to love it!

    Greetings from the USA!😊 Great video, as usual😊 Helpful, informative, w room for a laugh or two😃. Question about using molasses...doesn't it attract ants? I see other orchid growers use it as well but I am hesitant b/c I do get ants when the weather turns warmer. Thank you for teaching us how to care for our beautiful plants!❤❤

      Sorry for the late reply .. if you are using it in the correct way it should not attract ants some other commercial growers also suggest it deters ants . But over use and then subsequent by products of the molasses decomposition may be problematic in this regard . Remember to use the Un-Sulphured one I forget if I mentioned that or not .

    Won't ants take up the plant ? Can molasses give to phals

    • @thenaturecompany
      @thenaturecompany  11 місяців тому +1

      as long as you don't over do the molasses the ants seem to not be attracted and yes you can use on phals
