The templates in this realistic sugar craft bougainvillea tutorial come from the real plant that sits on my front porch.

First, I begin by instructing how to create the base color in your gumpaste.
You will then learn how to use the template(s) if you will be using NO CUTTERS for this UA-cam tutorial. You can use any sugar flower Bougainvillea cutters for your bracts and leaves if desired, or any similar cutter. You simply then follow the color guidelines in coloring the gumpaste and using the appropriate petal dusts for example to create you sugar paste - sugar craft Bougainvillea.
I have also provided a size template for reference in creating the actual/center flowers for this project. You will roll your gumpaste into a log the cut the appropriate sized pieces to allow you to create uniform sized flowers for your sugar Bougainvillea.
After letting your sugar craft - sugar flower Bougainvillea elements dry the appropriate time, you will proceed to adding your petal dust.
You will learn how to tape your sugar Bougainvillea bracts, flowers, and leaves to create a realistic Bougainvillea branch.
After creating your single or pair(ed) sugar flower elements, you can combine them to create a larger gumpaste sugar Bougainvillea arrangement.
