I have this carrier and am very happy with it except for one thing. When I wear my heavier coat, the waist strap is not long enough to go around me and fasten. I am hoping to find some kind of an extension belt. As anyone else encountered this and found a solution?
Now that you've had it for a while, how sturdy are the zip up sides once the kitty is in it? Has it held up well? My cat's safety and comfort is important so I appreciate all the feedback you want to give!
It's still very sturdy. It's honestly in the same condition as when I first bought it and it went through a whole summer - early winter of regular use either walking or using my bike. My cat is also not the slimmest and its still in good shape 😄. I have bought other backpacks since and this one is still my favorite. Having the wide side doors is helpful and my cat loves sticking her head out of the little window in the front which isn't available in a lot of backpacks. Its also not as bulky as some of the ones with bubble windows (and although the bubble packs aren't my favorite, I get why people like them).
Thank you a lot for this review! I want to order one of these but wasn't sure if my 13ish pound bud would be comfortable/ safe in it. It looks very spacious/ sturdy and I love the leash safety feature!! I wanna take him on hikes with me so I think this backpack would be the perfect addition for adventuring! He's also long furred so the ventilation is a must and I love that it comes in a bunch of dark and light colors. I also wanted to ask what harness do you use when taking Sandy on adventures?

Hello! Thanks for the question. It is slightly uncomfortable but not at all umanageable. In my experience, all the different backpacks I have do this to some extent; this is still my favorite backpack to use. :)
Hie thank you for the video! I have a couple of questions if you can answer for me it'll be great! I'm getting a cat soon! 1.Does it squish the cat while you walk? 2.Does the frame hold if you lay the bag horizontally?
Great questions and congratulations on your new furry friend!! No it does not squish the cat while walking, my cat is on the tubby side and she's very comfortable laying or sitting or sticking her head out of the little window. The frame is pretty sturdy so it won't maintain its shape exactly on the side but it won't fold in on itself at all. Hope that helps! Happy adventuring. :)

I love this backpack my cats can stand lay down look from sides front and it’s not to bulky
