That Uzumaki squad was pretty dope. Kushina’s trap jutsu is funny. Would love to see a trap-jutsu squad with her, Sakon, and Iruka. Kid Kakashi’s air-cancel is too sweet, plus he’s got the extra charge on the chidori … goddamn. Strange I haven’t seen a jonin Minato team with kid Kakashi and kid obito in quite some time. 90% of my battles ppl use the same characters lol
I mean... Doing the down combo helps with damage. It does more damage anyway and it keeps the opponent in your face if you don't wanna have to keep chasing after the opponent when you knock them away. It's not even a fancy situation. Some moves lead to more damage depending on the situation. After essentially taking away ringouts and reducing strike backs, knocking people away loss a lot of purpose if you don't need the space.

A real good trap character is Roshi. His trap not only pops people up and has a decent range but it is a combo tool to quickly pop someone up if they call a grounded support to quickly get into the air out of the support range.

You might not of considered his, but using Up combo and then comboing in the air can be helpful if your opponent doesn't have any assists to hit you in the air and interrupt you at least. I myself usually try to do a basic combo into w/ combo they can continue from, Cdash if needed, and then do another taijustu combo into Lv3/Ultimate if possible.

Kushina has 3 nature chakra, sealing jutsus as Uzumaki specialty and the adamantine chains in databook yet CC2 is still creatively bankrupt. Guy still has that stupid gag running. Ashura and Indra's copy paste moves was taken from the lazy anime filler written by a writer that never wrote anything to Naruto series except that arc. Either they never consulted Kishimoto or he just doesn't care about his own franchise. Suigetsu is for that water line jutsu if you sub it and don't block you get hit again.
rock lees down combo is cancellable so is killer b’s to allow their combos to continue w a dash instead of being caught in combo animation
That's why I said you can maybe do different combo routes,but by the time you end your combo. Damage scaling would already be at max output
