“What Was I Made For?” jazzy instrumental playing in the background.❤
Holy crap. I just realized the fabric Ruth is sewing at her table is the same pattern as Barbie's dress in the beginning! Can't believe I missed that!
This is my favourite scene from _The Matrix Reloaded._
the architect 😂
Danny DeVito’s wife is in this scene. The mom from Matilda.
Rhea Perlman.
I know. Rhea Pearman has been in loads of films and television programmes over the year.
I wish there was more of this scene. Its about as homely and reminiscent of a past gone by that you could ever get in a blockbuster like this. Same with the VHS clips of life later in the film. But I guess this wouldnt be as strong a marketing flex.
God, Barbie looks exactly like one of my sisters. True story. And she also got the house the doctor husband the whole thing. I thank God every day I’m not insanely jealous.
Nice sister.
Great Ruth's ghost!

That song is actually called “Meeting Ruth”. But it does sound like “What Was I Made For?” By Billie Eilish.
Meeting Ruth is the title they gave for this version to differentiate it
It's not a different song, it is What Was I Made For
For a ghost she can eat and drink.
We have a movie with living dolls that live in a utopian plastic land that they enter and leave in a montage of practical effects, and you wonder about a ghost that can eat and drink?
Whoa, talk about meta!
If Ever After High characters were brought to life by famous fairy tale illustrators using magic paintbrushes inspired by Harold and the Purple Crayon, it would be a fantastical adventure. Here's a potential concept:
Imagine iconic illustrators like Arthur Rackham, Gustaf Tenggren, and Brian Froud gathering at Ever After High to bring the students' stories to life. With magic paintbrushes in hand, they'd illustrate the characters, and as they drew, the students would spring to life!
Apple White, Raven Queen, and their friends would find themselves in a world of wonder, navigating vibrant landscapes and fantastical creatures. The illustrators' unique styles would shape the environments, from Rackham's whimsical gardens to Tenggren's majestic mountains.
As the students explore this living artwork, they'd encounter challenges and surprises. They might need to outsmart Rackham's mischievous fey creatures or solve puzzles hidden within Tenggren's intricate designs.
With the magic paintbrushes, the students could also bring their own imagination to life, creating new worlds and characters. The adventure would be a celebration of creativity, friendship, and the power of storytelling.
This crossover would blend the beloved Ever After High characters with the timeless charm of classic fairy tale illustrations, creating a one-of-a-kind adventure that inspires imagination and creativity.
Thank you for posting this clip it’s my favourite scene in the whole movie 🥰🥲
It's my second favorite scene after the last one with Barbie and Ruth walking across that white screen.
Ruth stole the design from Germany. The original is the Lilli doll from Germany and after Ruth went to Germany, she made Barbie and the first Barbie looked exactly like Lilli. Shes a fraud.
@@calistafalcontailOver 80 percent of the US population has at least one German name in the family, so it’s not surprising.
The void almost like the amazing digital circus with Caine and Pomni
This scene is sweet but also creepy
I love this scene
