I followed Gentle Whispering back in middle school. The year was 2011. For 13 years I have been falling asleep to this channel, and I seriously am so grateful for the content. Before ASMR was a phenomenon, Mariya was here for us. Thank you.

This channel is the whole reason i got into ASMR, all the way back in 2012! It was a hairbrush tapping vid i was only 12 at the time and had never heard of ASMR, at first i was weirded out by the whispering i didnt understand what was going on, then the tapping started and i felt my ears and brain melting haha 😂That video was the cure for my insomnia for years! i still go back to it every now and then and it still does the trick ~ You are the queen of ASMR!

Loved the Finley book. Such wonderful sounds from a gone by era... Cork is a softer sound but really loved the foam pad which sounded more treble-y or mid-range while between the mic and more bass-y when in front - whereas the gem sheet sounded more bass-y (to me) on top of the mic. Endlessly fascinating are the physical properties and frequencies of sound and sound equipment - and the reasons for our preferences. When purchasing an acoustic guitar I was really attracted to the woods with more bass and learned that men typically like more treble and women more bass, which makes sense when thinking of the predominant voice tone for each gender. Very relaxing video w my personal fave Bhutanese. Thank you so much for taking the time ❤️
