All the italian songs from Måneskin need to be listening with the lyrics, it's where the real magic of this band lives.

This is so much more than a "Romantic song" or a " song about heartbreak!!!" Don't say anymore without checking the lyrics!! This is an absolute masterpiece. The Lyrics are so intense. If they say music can cut into your heart.. this is what they mean. Bon Jovi sings " how the Poët needs his pain.." this young man is a true Poët.. Giorgia (his girlfriend)beïng his inspiration (as he said himself after this performance) is booth beautifull and so f*cking painfull. 💔

We suggested it because of his pure emotion as he sings. Yes you’ve heard the song but this performance is more powerful considering the backstory behind there journey. Many people, from there own country and abroad, doubted them when they won a few years earlier. Now here they are a couple years later, on top world wide. So to finally get the confirmation from there home country meant the world to them. Maneskin fans, please let me know if I got all of that right.

      Paolo Ramagnini

This song is GENIUS!!! The rendition was GENIUS!!! The lyrics are simply incredible. Man, they deserve so much credit for creating this song. I love Måneskin but this song should have won awards all over the world. And they were so young when they wrote it. It’s a love song but so deep. There’s not a lot of them written like this this century. But the lyrics are key and if you would have understood the lyrics your reaction would have been so much more ‘felt’.

After Sanremo Damiano explained that this song was inspired by his girlfriend who was present in the hall (and for this reason the emotion in singing it) and it is a story of suffering of a girl who unfortunately has several problems practically a novella but without not the happy end.
I think it's worth reading the translation because it's rare for a boy to write such texts at the age of 17.

We have a lot of beautiful Italian songs before 2000, now we have only rappers, trappers and terribile pop female singers. Please Iisten Fabrizio De André, i Matia Bazar, Vasco Rossi, Zucchero, Nina Zilli, Gianna Nannini, Elisa, but sure Coraline is the best.

Guys, you should read the lyrics translation in English then you'll understand and appreciate
the song ten times more .
Then you'll understand why this song is a masterpiece !
Guys , read the English lyics !
BTW , it's not a love song , but about a girl being abused by her father (incest), she gets
pregnant by him, can't take it anymore and commits suicide .

Thx. 1) You can easily look up the lyrics in English.
    2) It's about the suicide of a young girl (from the real world),
that's why it's so emotional singing for people who understand the story.
    3) The best performance of their best song with the strings. Peace.

I'm glad you enjoyed this performance, it must be hard to connect to songs that are not in your language, even when you can recognize the feeling they're trying to expess through the music.
Now I hope you'll get to their more recent songs, maybe you can start with their new album? They made really well produced lyric videos for all the songs on the album (and I mean Taylor-Swift-lyric-video quality!).
Otherwise, I'd suggest their live performances, they're always fun!

Incest involved here in the lyrics. Just saying. That song is an anthem for abused people, depressed, it s about abuse. Toxic father. Anxiety. People all around the world ding this song crying even if they are not Italian. They learn Italian for that song . The bare minimum since the first reaction was to check the lyrics and people asked you to read them. After watching a man crying on stage you're laughing? ... and don't think to eventually check what he was saying? It's not cool or beautiful. I don't know what they're saying is not an option as Google exists.. 🙄

Parole Lontane...
