It's morse code for I'm a really big ship and there is no way for me to stop so I'm just going straight ahead and if you get in my way it is your own fault.
Go to Google Maps and look up South Ocean Lane in Fort Lauderdale. You can get to that particular viewing spot from the hotels and condos located along the beach there, near South Ocean Lane.
I really love this video!...so much so, I want to be able to visit this location when I get to Fort Lauderdale. Would you be able to provide the location of this place? Thank you. Keep Up The Great Work
hi jim no you are not the only one that likes to watch them I love to watch them on the port cam and in personI have only been on 14 cruises so far all of them great Richard in fort Lauderdale
The one horn didn't seam to fit the huge ship, it was funny but that was awesome I would just love to sit there and watch the ships go by all day, be the highlight of my day.
Of the six ships shown in the video, I've only actually been on one of them... Carnival Freedom. But with the exception of the Westerdam, I've been on sister ships of all the others.
They've carved out a deep enough channel to accommodate even the largest cruise ships in the world. But you are absolutely correct that it's pretty narrow!
How cool is that to be able sit right there and watch them, or swim with them. Wow!
Ive been on the top deck right in front of the horn at the bow of a cruise ship and it HURTS. I can't even imagine being up there on the westerdam
Wow westerdam....did the button get stuck?
that what i was thinking
No they actually won an Award for the most horn blowing lol
Classic overcompensation lol
Either that or they let a four year old push the button.
