ERM ACTUALLY DIMEBAG WAS QUARTER STEPS 🤓☝(in all seriousness its nice to see a player like you that doesn't usually play songs like that actually venture into his skill, its great)
Mike...once again, Boss Metal Zone MT-2 pedal. I have a spare to ship to you, if you don't want to invest. You hate me at this point, but you will LOVE the pedal!
I changed my main practice guitar to half step down a couple of months ago and I haven't gone back since! I dunno somthing about it just seems to sound better on my acoustic and it rests nicely in my vocal range
i am in a metal band and play a single coil strat the juice espesially with a low output guitar comes from the right amp and settimgs try to use a marshal or an orange tube amp crank the gain and volume mids a little bellow 12 o clock trebble at 7 and bass at 8 or 9 also try to use a tube screamer for some extra drive
For blues players metal has a lot of these: chugging, pinch harmonics, string skipping, down strokes and palm muting. With distortion you get that metal sound that some of us like also drop tuning if Ur heavy :/
Dude, it takes 10 years of training to get close to Dime's level. The key word is "get close". He played Van Halen and Kiss while in seclusion. And there are a ton of other great Dimebag solos.Strenght Beyond Strength, A New Level Primal Concrete Sledge. And don't forget about palm muting. This is one of the most basic techniques in metal. And by the way, the tuning that Dime often played in was D tuning, built at 425 Hz. He started using it frequently after the Vulgar Display of Power album. And lastly, please don't laugh at the news about Dime. It fucking tears me up every time it's mentioned. But in any case, you have cool content. Keep up the good work. Good Luck
if you are interested in checking out some Metal songs with some really awesome guitar riffs then I highly recommend you listen to the self titled album by the band Hobbs Angel Of Death.
>Bro cant play easiest metal riffs if his life depended on it >calls metal and metal guitarists dumb and unskilled Them stereotypes keep writing themselves ayy
To be fair, when it comes to guitar it really depends on what you practice. I assume that because he's a blues player he doesn't palm mute, pinch harmonic or play that fast regularly.

James D. Niggemeyer.
No Sabbath is wild
Eb tuning is actually used to make it easier to play open chords with brass and avoid transposing to keys that guitarist find difficult to play in

Nice
Use a compressor pedal if you want to tap and have sustain for such wimpy gain.
Play System of a Down soon 🤘🏼

It's legitimately annoying. This is the first long form video of his I watched and it's completely off putting
This. He claims to practice like 5h/day and I don't think it shows.
