I remember that one day my classmates were trying to won an argument against my teacher of why math was not necessary
my teacher destroyed them, no mercy and even bullied them😭😭

Thinking ability is the short answer. The specifics? I tell my PreCalc and Calc students they may not ever use these skills in real life, unless they become a math teacher or an engineer or something. Although I have friends who are engineers, they say they don't sit in their offices solving differential equations. haha (BTW: Stats is totally applicable.)

AMAZING EXPLANATION
As a young kid, I was the first Filipino math genius or math enthusiast for the people of my Filipino family since 2011 on math books that I just viewed without relying on the internet first; obviously, I rely on limiting internet cafe computer shops. While I enjoyed my elementary school until junior high school, I stopped doing this when I was on my senior high school journey due to my choices for starting my young adult life as I grew older and being a teenager was officially over, and then I'm doing this again in 2024. I'm on a college journey right now, and I'm almost finished.
I knew mathematics was just an art, a language, a science, and a tool in everyday life.

I aim to improve my math skills, I was the kid who would always struggle to comprehend what was being taught to me in terms of mathematics. I struggled a lot with division and volume specifically. I would always get stressed out and embarrassed that I didn't understand what was being said to me. That is why I will take notes, practice, pay extra attention, ask questions, and show up as the best version of myself.

But the problem is that math is everywhere

At starting you would think that math is not that important in some fields such as programming and graphic designing but when you go advance it is really required
The sooner you realize that math is the key to unlocking REALLY cool skills, the better.
