OBUS SOLINGEN, one of the few trolleybus operators in Germany

The system started in 1952, route 683 has had non wired extensions at both ends therfore buses drop there poles and continue by diesel engine. Northend of this route runs to Wuppertal were you can ride the famous Schwebebahn.
At the other end of this route is thought to be the only trolleybus turntable in the world, number 59 from the 1960s comes out for use one Sunday in a month in the summer and uses the turntable.
