4 Reasons Intel is better than AMD for gaming

- I have four AMAZING REASONS I ALWAYS RECOMMEND INTEL for every new gaming PC - so listen up! First, Intel obviously stands for INTELLIGENCE so it’s great, whereas AMD is just AND spelled wrong, so it’s dumb. Second, blue is a cooler colour than red, meaning Intel must run cooler and faster! Third, Intel’s chip numbers are higher - their latest chip is called the i9-14900KS, whereas AMD’s terrible ones are like.. 7600. That’s 7,000 less! Lastly, Intel is so much better value! Look, this AMD chip is an insane £600, but the Intel i5-14600K 14 core 20 thread BEAST is just £300. That’s AMAZING VALUE!
If you didn’t pick up on the satire, that was, in fact, a joke.

Intel systems have a fantastic new feature, they turn into a 400w space heater when they crash in the middle of your games!
well im greatful that i went for the i7 14700k instead of the i9 14900k and have not faced any issues even when overclocking i had the budget for the i9 14900k but since i wasnt interested in buying a rtx 4090 i went for the i7 for my rtx 4080 super and everything runs great.

And 40 reasons why AMD is better for gaming.
Thanks for the vid TechteamIntel! :D
Just a short question because I don't know anymore. Did AMD replace the blown-up chips when it happened?
I recently switched from Intel 6700k to amd7900x3d and I haven't regretted despite the fans occasionally sounding like a plane on my 7900xtx
I find Radeon Chill useful in most games, in summer I under volted more and cut max frequency by a few 100MHz which cut power usage massively.
If you don't follow Ancient Gameplays he has info on tweaking AMD and reviews driver releases
If you truly need heat reduction, limiting framerate to your monitor’s refresh rate (assuming it’s a 60hz) will do wonders.
I know it has been a bit but congrats on the 100k subs always great info and great vids Thanks
Can't wait for the non member Intel/AMD fan boys to attack this comment section

This is how I know someone has 0 Idea about gaming PC's at least for the last few years. Almost pointless to buy Intel for gaming unless you get some incredible deal. Ryzen is more efficient and performs on par or better for a better price in practically every game.
I think this fella might be onto something-I have my desktop in my basement, which is a good 2-5C colder than the rest of my house. Even during benchmarks, my 5900X and 6700XT sip power like they're wine tasters, and that's been leaving my toeses frozen.
It sounds like I wouldn't have this problem if I went for Team Blue.
Something to consider...
Your 5900x devours power like there is no tomorrow, what are you even talking about? Just browsing the web spikes the CPU up to 40-45 watts, lol. Intel cpus are sitting at below 10 for the same work. Get outta here
I got there with a different article in my Google Feed the other day. I don't even remember what it was about but it was so incredibly stupid that I told Google to not recommend me any of their articles anymore going with if they allow awful articlels like that one I really don't care about anything they have to say.
Nice teardown of that article. Appreciate your satire.
How much Intel donate money
The only thing to make this excusable would be if it was posted on April 1st or it confirms the writer is infact a complete bell end
There’s only one reason I recommend Intel: when I realise it’s a borderline fanboy in front of me who will blame everything and anything on AMD as soon as they touch the pc unsupervised.
Use intel if you don't mind a possible fire
My 5800x3D laughs at the idea of over clocking DDRAM, I started with a cheap APU build based on Zen+, moved to 5600x late 21, which is now doing data analysis in my niece's build since Q2/23.
If I had gone with Intel 9th gen, MSI might approve but User Benchmark definitely .. my wallet no.
My main mistake was not switching to AM5 as I hadn't known my niece needed a box when I treated myself to an upgrade.
u should oc the ram, u can get so much better perf with proper ram/ram speed. sure at stock it is very good but with some tinkering u will be back at almost 7800x3d perf level.
@@Pillokun 5800x3d does not respond to memory tuning like other CPU's. This has been tested. 2933 vs 3600 tuned will barely yield any difference. Idk how you think it might reach 7800x3d levels that's just nonsense.
@@Navi_xoo they sure do, every cpu does. But the problem or rather what makes the v-cache so good is that the x3d cpus dont need to access the ram as often as the non v-cache cpus.
just go to eteknix recent 5800x3d vs 7800x3d cpu comparison and it is pretty clear that it is pretty close. What makes 7800x3d to pull ahead is the ddr5 imc as it can now access ram twice as often compared to ddr4 platforms.
I have had all of these cpus and I know for a fact how they behave, as I always do proper comparison myself.
To be honest, I'm very happy with my first PC that I built myself with the 9900k, even my OC with 5.0 GHz has been running stable to this day. I've never experienced any game crashes or any kind of stuttering with the CPU. I can't even remember when I last spent time in the bios. With my 13900k I was in shock from day one and spent more time in the bios than gaming. Well, my new PC just sits in the corner and doesn't do anything. I'm very disappointed with Intel.🚮
I love the blurred out....nothing to see here LOL
Man that article reads like AI largely if not mostly AI written.
I have used AMD GPU's and CPU's, Intel CPU's, Nvidia GPU's. Interested in trying an Intel GPU sometime but if something better comes out then that is where I am going.
Funny that you could make an article called '4 reasons AMD is better than Intel for gaming' and use the exact same points!😂
My i5-11400’s IMC can handle four sticks at 3200 MT/s, but it can’t handle XMP at that speed. Intel isn’t perfect on this front, even or especially with limited chips.
Intel works better as a heater in winter.
insane intro 😂
Intel is the best room heater you can buy ready for winter 2025.
Have you got evidence that Intel really doesn't care about you?
I would never make these idiotic claims BUT I am more partial to using Intel after having been burned by AMD three times. Intel has just been a better fit for me despite their short comings but tbf both companies have their issues. Imo use what you feel works best for you as both are viable choices now.
using personal experience as a gauge is 100% fair lol, it's just a lot of people are blindly adoring one company instead of buying whatever that's the best pick for them
Same for me. There was always a problem with AM4 systems I built (Every MB-Vendor, Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, AsRock) but to be fair the one AM5 I built is running without any problem. Now my first Intel CPU has failed on me. So yeah it happens to every vendor pick your poison.
Well Intel at the moment is 1 more expensive 2 inefficient 3 is having mass degradation problems, just look it up, they had to pull back all motherboard specs because 12-14th gen CPU's are dying from taking too much voltage. Good choice bud.
@@Navi_xoo You never know with the CPUs you get what is going to happen to it in the future. I have a 12600kf, 12900k and a 13900k that all run without any problem since their launch. Only my 14900k is having a problem but it had that problem since the first day I got it. It is not a degradation problem! It is a validation problem!
more frowning, more funny faces, more constipation please
great video, as usual, an honest opinion 😎
Intel is actually better for gaming, for me that is in warzone. I have 7800x3d as well but with amd gpus I just dont get as much fps as mine intel platform with, yes just like it was talked about in this video with high ramspeed. The funny thing is that when I use the 7800x3d with an nvidia card I do get about the same perf but the moment I use the amd gpus the system underwhelms perf wise cpu in wz. Instead of getting almost 300fps I get 200 at most. That can be even seen when hub actually ran 7800x3d with nvidia and with amd gpus.
For race sims that I also run the 7800x3d is without a doubt a better cpu but even there the higher clocked ram on intel does indeed close the gap to barly nothing, and on amd u get worse perf if u run the imc at half the speed.
one thing more:
there is a youtuber that says that amd has an amd dip, especially if u whip the mouse around, nope never had it on my 5800x3d nor the 7800x3d. Fact is the 5800x3d was super smooth already with stock ram speed(3200c14), ie I did not feel like I was playing on an console with mouse, or another analogy like I was vading through knee high water like I did with my 12700k, 12900k with ddr4 at stock(3200c14 b-die). To get the same instantaneous feeling, like if I was not v-synced I had to tune the ram to 3800 1:1 at least.
With ddr5 platforms the feeling of that v-sync/console pleb fps gaming with mouse and keyboard disappeared, even if i used the slower ddr 5 4800 or 5200sticks. Pretty sure it has to do that even if the latency might be a bit higher the ddr5 systems can actually access the ram twice as often and still have like 15ns to spare compared to ddr4 with say 50-60ns setup.
I dont really oc my cpu that much, as it is not worth it because ramspeed is what will be the bottleneck in the end.
I had 2x 13900kf, 12900k, 2x 12700k, 5800x3d, 7600, 7800x3d and the main gaming cpu I use is the 12700k because it is the cpu that gives me the same fps as the other when everything is tuned up.
I had super big issues with my am5 platforms, sure I was early adopter and I switched back to lga1700 as the main system when asus released its bios with the nerfed soc voltages but it still did not change my boot up times, failed memory training leading straight to bios, and lacking perf in wz with amd gpus. which tells how bad cod is coded as they are now ms first party game dev and xbox uses amd.
intel, well I hate the e-cores and the perf still gets lowered with them on, or if the fps is there I get stutters as the e cores still sometimes seems to precess the game so to speak and because they are slower then p-cores the perf tanks and it shows up as a stutter. e cores, for me dont even work or help out in CAD applications in catia or nx. turn that crap of. :D
Wrong
@@Navi_xoo pretty sure u are wrong dude.. given your replies to me it kinda seems like u are one of those amd fanbois... dont be so toxic dude.
No, jsut no!!!! Get yuorself RX 6600 ;) at least you can expect certain level of performance, rather than intels lottery - some games are good, some are bad, and the worst is when you get unexplainable 1% lows...
I currently have Rx6600Xt paired with Ryzen 3700x....can play everything
@@naikz187war4 I'd be shocked if there were newer games that simply couldn't run on your system, but you won't be playing 4k max settings with RT with it.
@@Safetytrousers currently dont have a 4k monitor but not really interested in 4k...i have a 27inch 165hz but wish it was 1440p at least...
@@naikz187war4 My point was you can go quite low down the scale and be able to run games to some extent. But just running a game in some way is nothing aspirational. Do you have solid 165fps in everything you can play, like Cyberpunk at high settings?
@@Safetytrousers If a game is playable then you gaming right ? Nobody rich enough neither is there a rig that can hit solid 165fps in Cyberpunk
LOL!!! Keep it up mate 🙌
With this new Intel's New "Baseline Profile", Intel's 149000K(S) perform slower the 147000. Oh No stability issues with my Ryzen...what planet are you on dude?
Why did you just compare an i7 to an i5 can you explain that logic ? lol
Because clearly, clearly, this guy is an AMD shill and fanboi. Did you notice how he used white-out on the AMD logo, and then wrote Intel using marker on the cheque? Dead give-away. /s
@@WSS_the_OG 🤣 I hear you but you can’t compare a lower tier cpu with a higher tier’d one. that just don’t make sense. At that point he was just trying to be funny
"AMD's platform longevity isn't a must-have"?? 🤣
Wow!
That person did smoke something, or maybe he/she was an Intel employee.
When I was buying my new system, AMD 7800 3D chips were igniting on many motherboards. Also, ram choices were more picky. I wound up getting, with the guidance of Microcenter’s salesmen, a 13600 system. The article could have mentioned this and been dated news but true. Currently, i would wait for a next version of the 7800 3d whatever chip. Clearly there is no point to getting a 1400xx chip upgrade. I have 32 gb 7200 ddr5 ram. Some fancy Dominator stuff. The other two 32 gb 6200 ram sets fried themselves already. The Dominator, while ridiculous, has been stable for seven months now. You helped me build systems before, long ago when you were a wee-ish lad on here
if u have good mobo, iu can get those sticks to 8000 in an ideal setup. Mine 12700k with msi z790 itx and 7200c34 vengance (hynix a-die) are at 7800c36 right now. better perf than when I was using 13900kf with 6600c34 sticks.
LOL 7800x3d were not igniting on many motherboards it was an ASUS mobo problem. By that logic you should never buy a 4090 they've had tons of failures for like 1+ year. Microcenter salesman got more money from you on that one, 13th/14th gen are overpriced and inefficient. Now they have to knock back the motherboard specs because the Intel chips are dying from degradation too fast LOL.
@@Navi_xoo my lga1700 cpus are not dying, they work as intended, so was my 4090. The thing is the 4090 issue is that the plastic is the cheapest they could get their hands on and it is now biting them in the rear. Most of the gpus that have been affected are actually the ones with high powerlimits, those that had max 450w powerlimits, ie those with 3x8 pins to the 12 or 16pin or what it is called dont seem to have those issues.
Remember, amd had issues not only with asus but with other brands as well, all brands have 1.3 max voltage to the soc now.
and they still can have issues like long boot times and such even today.
remember amd had issues with their vapor chamber on the 7900xtx mba cards and they still have issues from driver release to the other with drivers. Latest time they had a big issue was the 24.1.1. with the absurd stuttering(hitching) in many games. for me it was bf2042 that caused pauses as if the hw was broken.
Every brand, manufactures have issues why are u so defending of amd like this and crapping all over intel?
both wants your money and both have issues, u dont need to do anything like loose out any perf if u know your way in the bios.
Sensible words . Well done.
A.M.D. actually stands for “And Me Dumb”. Checkmate AMD

By the way I have both AMD and Intel CPUs running at home, also use ARM chips (Raspberry Pi), basically whichever works for the project.
LOL
Damn right AMD is bad, it does not even fit in an 1700 socket....
Oh i run XMP at 6000Mhz C28 on my 7800X3d with XTX7900 :P (since the EXPO version was 10 more euro's :P )
Oh and you are a year off "AM4 was launched in September 2016"
Intel is not better than AMD for gaming. Not their video cards. Not their processors.
amd pays youtubers for endorsement thts why everyone on youtube build amd pc 😅 13500 14500 14 cores 20 thread cpu is way better than even 7700x and build is way cheaper
Intel chips are -with a few exceptions - more efficient than amd chips. Whoever says otherwise either doesn't know what a bios is or is just biased as hell.
Just browsing the freaking web on a 7950x - the CPU was spiking up to 65 and averaging over 40, that's literally 10 freaking times more than what my 12900k draws for the same task.
Stop the BS 😅
@@Sirjojovii What BS are you talking about?
Wrong. Intel are less efficient in literally 99 percent of workloads. Get off the intel crackpipe. Slight differences in idle efficiency is a non issue. Also Intel had to tell motherboard makers to tune down voltages because 12-14th gen are dying en masse now. Great choice drinking the kool-aid there bud.
AMD is garbage, overheating mess, have 78003xd, my 13600K was better, i regret selling it
🤣
