ECM Blower Motor Failing Intermittently EP130

- No heat no cool. The ECM blower motor will shut off and lockout. Another company came out and replaced the motor and the control board but the client is still having the same issue. It's my turn to give it a shot. Looks like we have some communication issues due to a bad connection.
This video was shot 2 weeks ago from this video posting. The unit is still working after the repair was made.

I’m having issue with a package unit icing up ether they have it on 24/7 or maybe the blower is dropping out or maybe both leaving it on 24/7 ice up and it hurt the motor so now I’m chasing a second and third issue
Ive debated getting an ECM motor tester. Have you had any issues with it or pretty straight forward?
I have the same fan tester and works great. Makes life easier for sure.
What was the FLA rating on that ECM?
How is it holding up?
It’s still good. I went back for a preventative maintenance and the client said he hasn’t had any problems.
My motor just rocks back and forth like its trying to start but cant...

@@regularguyfixes3142 Thank you, I rent and was hoping I could replace the capacitor but this one doesn't have one.. Almost $700 for a new motor so requested a service order and still waiting over 2 months in south Florida. Pretty miserable. Thanks for your reply
