Works great as a wah triggered by an expression pedal. just set the mode toggle to "filter" and control the filter sweep with the expression pedal. I prefer the sound to my auto wah pedals.
could i control the filter's response with the external expression pedal, bypassing the internal oscillator (hence use it like a wah)? this option would make it even more awesome

Can you turn off the oscillator and get a stable monophonic voice of the different wave forms to use as a soloist the way a wah pedal can be left at some particular point between all the way up and down, or does it always have to sound swirly like the wah pedal is moving forward and back at some speed?
I saw a retailer's pre-order page and it had this pedal shipping before the end of January. In the past, EHX has generally been good about hiding pedals until they're actually ready for the market. I think the Super Pulsar and Mel9 both shipped right after EHX unveiled them.
Hi, EHX! Can you make a stereo I/O filter with MIDI? Switchable hi- lo- and bandpass with 6, 12, 18 and 24db/oct responses. Currently the Elektron Analog Heat pretty much has the market to itself in stand-alone units.
No that won’t work, the EXP jack doesn’t work as a TAP in jack. A clock pulse could technically control the filter directly (on, off, on, off) but it wouldn’t set the tempo of the sweep and the tap-divide wouldn’t do anything.
Would I be able to use the expression output for an external tap tempo? Thinking about linking two of these up to an external tap with different sub divisions.
I've loved this pedal since I've gotten it, but recently when I move the blend over or under the middle position, I get a crackling sound from my amp. What could be the issue?

I bought this pedal and have had problems with it working tried calling company no response so I opened back panel and found leads on a capacitor shorted with each other shame on electro harmonix for such poor quality control
Sorry Frank, All you had to do is write info@ehx.com for help. Its in the manual. They would have helped you out fast. All pedals are checked before they go out so that would be unlikely it was a factory issue. I would return it to where you bought it for a new unit.

With the resonance counter clockwise with the expression in the filter mode there is a WahWah sound. The oscilation is disengaged therefore.

You can connect an expression pedal and set it on filter and you should be able to do that

That is the only one now. No midi but it has CV and is analog.

The voltage range is 0-5V. Any standard expression pedal or CV source that puts the voltage on the tip of the TRS cable will work.
