FUN FACT: Barbara was actually going to be a five star character in the early beta of genshin impact but was changed to a 4 star in 1.0, that's why she has a burst animation - and no other 4 star does. I guess genshin liked her animation and decided to not take it away... :)

I'm a bit sad that you ranked sucrose so low, but I get it. She doesn't have much going on with her
I relate to her so heavily as a shy introvert, and I find the windblume event with collei really expanded on her character, and it was nice seeing her having kind of a big sister role to collei 🥺
Plus she's really cute lol
i think if i played earlier i would like her more! i just felt like i know NOTHING about her! 😭 she is so cute though!!

Love love how you give everyone a chance! I agree with almost all of it but have to give my girl diona a shoutout, she has more backstory (even a bit of a tragic one if i remember correctly) in her voicelines and hangout, while yes she can feel a bit stuck in her one character trait being the bartender hating alcohol type

We will see more of Eula when Dornman port comes out (the port in northern Monstadt). Since Eula works there quite a lot, (according to her story voice lines) she will most likely make an appearance there. This update will probably come in 5.6 though (from leaks)

Eula genuinely is one of the prettiest characters period to me. Everything about her, from her design to her animations, it's all so elegant and I wish she got more of a chance to shine in the story. She had prominent roles in a couple of events, but that's about it. A real shame, but hopefully she'll get more screentime in the future!

Bennet's bad luck coming through once again 😔 I agree with a lot of these opinions, I'm glad my boy Razor ended up pretty high in the ranks, I still consider him my main after all these years ❤ surprised to find out you were a Rosaria main :o and I fully support putting characters in the best category jusy because you like them, looking forward to the next regions 👀

YASSSSS KLEE IN THE TOP TIER IS SOOOOOO REAL, she was my first 5 star and I loved her sm but when Hu Tao was released I listened to the community and everyone was saying Klee was bad so I pulled for hu Tao and only used her for years but lately I went back to Klee and she’s so much fun 😭😭 I really hope Alice becomes playable one day and they work well together 🙏🙏
You know I appreciate this, I personally really dislike Klee and find her annoying/obnoxious but so glad others enjoy her and the rest of your comment is a great reminder to only pull for those characters you genuinely enjoy/desire regardless of "META"

Honestly so refreshing to see a tier list like this and also someone who shares basically my same views on all characters, if anything being too generous (for example, totally love Diluc and don't understand why so many seem to have dismissed him, Amber is useless and also has no personality even though I wish she was more than a cheerful Outrider and that's basically it, same for Jean, and then there is Bennet...he downright annoys me and I can't help but dislike him even more because of the game forcing a pity party for a character I already don't really like...and it makes me feel worse that I feel this way, lol)! Only, I highly disagree with the takes on Venti and Klee, I've never resonated with either of them and have found them rather annoying which is a shame! Either way, so many of the criticisms really come down to underdeveloped potential and a lack of getting to know them better
Like the video format/commentary/focus and hope we’ll see it for all the characters like you mentioned
After, would be interesting to see a world tier list, a dedicated outfit/character design tier list, music, etc, lots of interesting things to explore beyond simply combat!

havent even finished the video yet but it sounds like she's disliking a lot of 4-star characters because they have very singular personality or character description
but that has been a common thread with 4-stars, which they have fleshed out in limited time events, like razor's
i’m a really big hater of the whole, putting all the super cool and interesting lore in limited events!! events that are that important to the story should be permanent :,)
