Martyn's face (and general stage character) is just sublime. He has this bizarrely aloof, completely nonchalant facial expression as if he has disdain for life and he's playing only because some force is compelling him to, even though you know he's getting a huge kick out of playing.

Only 'discovered' the Tiger Lillies this year. I'm hooked! Saw them live and was amazed, astonished and in love ❤️.

10:00 the drummer continues playing even when the break comes in, the bassist can be seen physically putting his hand up to tell him to stop, not quite a masterpiece, but very close.
@@Yese7 Think it's just another silly part of the act.
@@Zeragath If you've ever played live music in a group before, you'll know it isn't an act. Drummer got carried away and bassist had to stop him.
@@Yese7 Jonas was a new drummer when this was recorded and by the looks of it he was not prepared for Martyn flowing into such a deep spiritual state. Adrian has decades of stage presence with him, so he probably knew what's up. Not sure if Jonas is still with the band post-COVID or not, Tiger Lillies doesn't lists an official drummer on their site while on their shows they seem to be employing a Greek try&hire who goes by the artist name Voodoo Drummer.

Uff - that drummer has to fill some really big clown shoes...
Not that he is not technically proficient enough, he just does not infuse his own character yet, he seems to follow Martins lead instead of playing WITH him
and thus it sounds a bit like he is lagging behind. Is it just me?
