Hello people from everywhere! I'm 61 years old. I like all of the good old R&R and R&B stuff from Rolling Stones to Nina Simone. I Like opera, foremost Wagner, Verdi and Puccini .. and I really like Tom Waits, the Einstürzende Neubautem, Nick Cave, Leningrad .... and I love the Tiger Lillies !!! Greatest band on earth !
Awesome! And it's hard to even imagine Tom Waits fan that doesn't like TL...well maybe people that like only his "sweet" early 70s phase!? But that's not real Tom anyway :)
In the late 90's we went to a few concerts here in Austria. There was one concert where they only played for us - about 15 friends - because nobody else showed up. They asked us what we wanted to hear - haha. Once we where on a concert and two days later, I was cook in a hotel at that time, I saw the Tiger Lillies checking in in our hotel. I thought I'm freaking out. Their friend, Artist Nick Treadwell, lived near our hotel at the trainstation and they came to visit him. They were such nice, polite guys. They played a concert at the birthday-party of my Boss' daughter. It was pretty freaky, when you see 8 year old kids dancing to Heroin & Cocain. All three of them were very grounded people. I LOVE the Tiger Lillies!
@@GamesJoblin We lend them our PA and our mixer for the birthday party and recorded them on our Minidisc-Recorder. I have to ask our pianoplayer if he still has the recordings. Did you hear the new Covid-songs of the Tiger Lillies. They nail the Corona crazyness. Amazing!
