  • Former Bristol City goalkeeper Mike Gibson recalls his career which took him from his hometown Derby to Ashton Gate via Nuneaton Borough & Shrewsbury Town. He was signed by Fred Ford in 1963 and was in the City side which reached the League Cup semi finals in 1971.
    Mike is in conversation with Richard Latham.

    Absolute legend at Bristol City, I used to live round the corner at bedminster down. A number of city players lived in that area in club houses. Got to know Chuck Drury well, absolutely lovely man. I remember the Oldham game as a ten year old.
