facial contrasts make guys look good too it's not just women. Just take all those 'popular' tiktok guys and most celebs, their sclera is very white and have a lot of contrasts on their face. Probably the research said it's less attractive for men because they took the same eye 'makeup' for guys like in the picture they used for reference which is quite dumb because the 'way' of preference of facial contrasts is different, for eg more facial contrast on their eyebrows (+ a good jawline) in guys makes them really good looking (According to another video of qoves).

I think the over exaggerated darkness around the eyes is femininely attractive/ a sexually dimorphic trait for social reasons. Natural contrast on a man’s eyes is considered attractive and even brooding (and other masculine kinds of descriptors), thinking of actors like Ian somerhalder and rob lowe. The exaggerated effect that can only be achieved with makeup is solely attractive on women/unattractive on men bc we’ve socially evolved to accept “unnatural” enhancements of appearance for women

thats bullshit. evolution does not work that way for reasons im not gonna get into. the real reason is that progesterone and estrogen, which women have much more of than men, change the collagen content of the skin in a way that makes the skin appear paler and more uniform, while testosterone increases different collagen types, which makes the skin look thicker, and more reddish , and it visually reduces contrast. I know because I have taken various steroids, which includes testosterone, and also steroids which greatly increase estradiol and progesterone production, and taking these ones would result in me noticing that when looking in the mirror, for some reason my face appeared to have way more contrast, like the skin was paler and the lashes and brows darker, and the eye color brighter and more intense, almost like make up, which looks rather feminine. there is no arguing this, but you have to have seen it to know that this is how it works.

The limbal ring (the dark ring around the iris, mentioned in the video) CAN be changed/ thickened by living a healthy lifestyle. Don’t rely only on make-up and other cosmetica, but rely on the core of your human body that can heal you from within when you give it the right fuel!

I think the limbal ring is one of the most misunderstood and overrated features. It really does not matter all that much when it comes to attractiveness and it’s almost non-existent in everyone. Most people only “have” it because of the lighting in professional photos or due to contacts. Since contacts are slightly smaller than your iris, and the contacts slightly change the color of your iris, the part that isn’t covered looks like a ring. It’s really just not that significant.
Me with fair skin and naturally dark hair and eyebrows. Dua Lipa is freakin stunning. Her coloring is just vibrant and catches the eye.

My original point is saying that commonly black and dark skin, people have dark eyes, which is naturally going to contrast against the white of the eyes, no matter how dark or light the whites of the eyes are.

Nope, depends on the chemicals. I use tear drops every single day several times a day, but the ones I use are like a natural human teardrop. Of course, that was an indication of my ophthalmologist, so you guys should go to one so you receive a proper indication.
The kind of tear drops you should always avoid are the ones that have nafazoline, those are dangerous and usually really cheap

Though they are beautiful, I don’t think black women have a high contrast in their features. Middle Eastern women do but despite that they aren’t really perceived as the most attractive around the world. In general it’s the Eastern European women and the ones from Nordic countries even though most of them don’t have this high contrast without make up so I don’t know what to make of this video really

I hate using make up, and although I am married and mom of two kids, when I go out to run errands I end up being treated like a child or as a simple “whatever customer” if I don’t wear make up.

Yeah this feels a bit like bs or bad studies. Lots of people adore long lashes and high contrast in mens eyes too, and if it was a universal thing, nordic women would also have much darker lashes. Also the eye ring is only really noticable in light eye colours, so it doesnt really go for people with dark brown eyes. I doubt that the eye ring or the lashes play such a big role. In the end, models still look stunning with very light eyebrows or lashes. And then advertising these eye drops… i feel like this channel wants to create new insecurities in people to sell their products :/

Like I tell my patients: eye drops are your friends. Stay hydrated, stick in some eyedrops, tint your eyebrows and lashes (or get extensions if you feel you need more), and you are pretty much good to go. For me, I also get semipermanent lip blushing in a slightly pinker color to compliment my skin tone better. So mornings are a quick skincare routine, blush, and chapstick. It makes life easier and better for your skin only going through those things once every 3 weeks or so than every day.
What can men do to make their eyes more attractive?
Use Minoxidil on your eyebrows, eye drops for whiter scelera and maybe latisse for longer lashes, that's about it non surgically
Find a hot male model and mimic his eyebrow shape.
