Initially SNK was about to shut down so they thought that this was the final game because they want to go out with a bang. Who'd have thought this game revived SNK as a company.

I got this game for free on the Xbox 360 one year. Pretty wise decision to make one of the best Metal Slug games free for a short time.

Also I like the way the rebel army helps you in the end of the game.
