I went once and wasted fat mike stumbling around on stage slurring half songs literally groping by 2 hookers was severely dissappointed after spending $120 on tickets and bus fare
They won’t play any of their final shows at places owned by Ticketmaster, they want everyone to be able to afford tickets and have 2 days of fun. They’re also all on Friday and Saturdays.
I was really looking forward to see them again on this last tour but most of the dates around me were festival appearances which Im not about. I wanted to just see them doing their own show. Ater youve been to a million festivals starting in the mid 90s the magic and sense of adventure is lost and they just become a pain in the ass and annoying.
@@sethcollins4940 Doesnt change the fact that festivals are super annoying and TBH 2 hrs isnt really long in regard to shows/bands Im use to seeing. Most bands I see do 2 sets 1hr first 2 hr second plus encore. Its long for punk though for sure. Anyway, not worth all the annoying shit would have to put up with and I saw them a bunch back in the 90s. Have fun if you go though
The “festival” isn’t any longer than a standard show. What is so annoying about a one day festival that you could just show up to the last band if that’s all you wanted to see. 🤷♂️
So weird seeing Fat Mike be the standard bearer for what is Punk, but if you read the NOFX book you’ll read that he was a timid poseur most of his life and well into the life of NOFX. It was an all an act… it was his schtick until Cokie the Clown/drug phase. With that said still love the guy and the band. He told me fuck you when he signed my pack of cigarettes in 2002.
