Welcome! My name is Katie Lopez. I’m a homeschool mom who loves the Lord deeply.

The kids and I have been having a good time with our new science curriculum, Swimming Creatures from Apology. It’s written from a Christian perspective, and in unit study format - good for about 2nd-6th graders (our kindergartener is joining in as well where she can).
If you’re interested in trying it yourself, you’ll want to buy the main teaching book, and then buy as many journals as you need. I’d recommend one journal per child. There are two journals: one for older kids, and one for younger kids, called junior. Both follow the main book by chapter, and are easy to use.
