I had a feeling that Flapjack's death was going to happen, but it still hurts. Like I said, this needed to happen for Hunter to completely break free of Belos' influence. Rest in piece Flapjack, you will be missed.
1. What a big reveal that he wasn't Caleb's Palisman, but Evelyn's, and a symbol of their love. He was attached at the hip to Caleb Wittebaine, going along with the show's themes of love through adversity and found family. 2. Hunter ended up different from the other Golden Guards on multiple counts because of Luz, but it's also overlooked that Luz helping Bat Queen and Bump see the beauty of trusting others and wild magic respectively, the forest wouldn't have selected Palismen for adoption, and Hunter wouldn't have met Flapjack. 3. Can Hunter do magic now?! Flapjack is in his heart and could act as a bile sac to witches.
Flapjack bound himself with Hunter’s heart. His soul is now one with Hunter’s. I’m hoping Hunter can now do the teleport thing as a sign that Flapjack is a part of him. Please make this happen, Dana! 🥺🙏

okay, i think i have a theory, belos forcefully took the palisman magic, which is what turned him into the abomination that he is, but kept him alive. but hunter was given the magic to revive him willingly, by flapjack, i think hunter might have some kind of magic powers soon, only time will tell.
As much as I wish it hadn't come to that, no war of any kind is complete without casualties on both sides. At least with Flapjack as a part of him, he is truly free from Belos. Hunter can be who he really wants to be. And he has a new family that truly accepts him. It doesn't matter to them that he started out as a grimwalker. And that family includes a maternal figure who is going to teach Belos not to mess with any of her kids! Belos is sooooo doomed!
