This was one of the most played games on the Wii for me. I remember playing with my brother and we would mess around on the first level. We would go next to the enemy tank and press "A" to plant the bomb then we would push the enemy over it, then wait for it to blow up.

Me and my uncle would play this all the time. We beat it quite a few times! Also Poof, there are a total of 540 tanks over 100 levels. IIRC you have to beat level 20 first once in order to unlock the rest of the game.
The amount of joy I felt beating this mini game a few months back was unimaginable. Those final few levels really test your metal with the motion sensor shooting.
Poof, I know this game makes you want to stop living, but you have to keep playing this man. This was the hardest I've laughed in a long time 😂. You don't realize how funny it is to hear you yell at a Wii game I loved so much in my childhood.
@@Hekza0024 Since I learned of this feature in a speedrunning video (and I never owned Wii Play itself), I am not sure if it's any easier but playing in 4:3 is apparently much faster. The projectiles travel a shorter distance since the boards are slightly smaller. The most notable example I can remember is Mission 14 (14:16 for Poof). The wall above spawn has two columns and three gaps in widescreen. In 4:3, there is only one column and two gaps. As a result, it is much easier to snipe the green tank Poof targets, since you can directly hit it from the lower area. In widescreen, you have to aim off the wall to hit it. Given that this is an actual feature, both resolutions have their advantages and disadvantages. The big one is that some stationary tanks sometimes don't have the angle to hit you in certain situations when playing in widescreen. This changes in 4:3, where, in those same situations, the stationary tanks now have the angle to hit the player. It's pretty neat, and I am not sure if any other Wii game has this feature where the levels actually change depending on which resolution you're using. Going back to speedrunning, I did find out recently that a particular cutscene in New Super Mario Bros. Wii plays out slightly faster in 4:3 compared to widescreen (which is obviously huge in speedrunning), so that's pretty cool.
