Thank you!!
Many Thanks, Mr.Tech2touch, Truly you are Genuis with a beautiful mind, Makes me very happy after watching your video, Now I have a notification sound I love on my phone, truly people like you makes America so Great in the
world ! God blessings be yours ...
For everyone who wants to customize contact tones, HERE'S THE SOLUTION:
Go to your contact's text message, click on the upper right corner and click "Details" In the details menu click "notifications" about 3/4 of the way down, you'll see "sound". Click on that and you can customize the notification sound
That was SOO helpful! Not only did it show me how to handle this for texts, but I realized then it applied to other apps as well - now I know where to look! Just got this phone so was pretty confused.
Thanks SO much, I had no idea how! You've made my day, Sir!!! 😃
That's not my Galaxy A15, 5G menu.
Please see my comment above that I added on 12th September 2024
I think what people mean by "custom" is that they can upload their own sound effect from another source.
Yes bro
I just figured it out you go to files ,then downloads select the sound you want, copy it to a folder named notifications then go back to the sound settings and you'll find it
Don't know if people are so trying to get a personally notification sound but here are instructions if so.
1) Download the sound you want in mp3 format.
2) Open Samsung File and go to the download folder where you downloaded the mp3 and copy it and move it to the notification folder on the internal storage (the actual phone, not SD and to find the notification folder where it says essentials press it and switch it to all).
3) after that go back to the notification sound option in the settings and it should appear.
Your welcome.
Thank you so much 👍
Thank you so much 👍
Thanks, at least I can change my text tone now. I was hoping I would be able to change text tones for personal numbers like I can a ringtone, but oh well..
Thanks
Thank you , thank you , thank you, this was driving me crazy! You solved it, I owe you my life (just kidding).
Thank you so much!
I thought the “message categories “ choice was missing but I obviously missed the step in settings where it is enabled. Start with the main settings icon, select notifications, select Advanced settings and find near the bottom “Manage notification categories for each app” and enable it. Now follow the normal sequence as shown in this, and other, videos.
@@WilliamKirkpatrick-e8y that still didn’t work for mine
No longer works. The message categories choice is gone.
You need to enable it. I have shown it in the video.
@Tech2touch it really isn't there anymore. There is no option for it. I followed the video completely
@@moonbiscuits je ne sais pas changer non plus car je n'ai pas categorie notifications
@@moonbiscuits I found it after searching. You need to enable it in Advanced Settings.
@@Tech2touch I did not notice the enabling stage in your video. It went by too quickly. Found it now and it works. Thank you.
How about setting a specific notification sound for a specific contact?
I FOUND IT! Go to your contact's text message, click on the upper right corner and click "Details" In the details menu click "notifications" about 3/4 of the way down, you'll see "sound". Click on that and you can customize the notification sound
Are sir ye opsn hi nhi aa rhaa
If you have got the latest android update, then you need to do one more step. Go to Settings->Notifications. Go inside Advanced settings. Enable Manage notification categories for each app.
Hindi me bolo bhai
I am sorry to say that, I can't speak fluent Hindi. However, you can use Auto google translation of Captions.
