its funny seing this switch as for years I nver used a fader and always used a switch because it gave a better cut...sadly many mixers started using shitty rocker switches and they were particularly great for cutting. Now I see this and it's like theyve went back to the switch. ...and here's me trying to get better with the fader all these years...lol
That's all this "fader" is. It's a switch. Not a fader at all. Kinda deceitful imo. The switch does cut the sound out quicker. I haven't played with this turntable with the X fader knob or whatever you call it. But I could see it being pretty accurate if you're busting some cuts. Problem with X Faders is they bleed quick and the cut off noise varies depending on which X fader you get. I'm going to buy this and hopefully it does the job on the cuts. Just not a big fan of buying 6 D Cell batteries constantly.
This looks great for a beginner. Scratching is something I've always wanted to try and this looks like the right time to give it a go. My only worry now is my lack of skills or experience. Can I do it guys? Can someone learn to do some decent scratching in a short amount of time with some practice? Anyway, great stuff, Numark 👏🏼
Hudson 303 - did you get a Numark PT01 in the end? I’ve got one and am really digging it. Made a few upgrades to it so it’s a more advanced turntable now
Numark acerco el mundo del vinilo a todos, una máquina que lo tiene todo, 100% portable, fiable, construcción robusta, y lo mejor un precio accesible. Felicitaciones al equipo de desarrollo de la pt01 scratch, la rompieron.
You are better off getting a high quality metal adapter (I just use the one that came w/my atlp120) or buying a bunch of those cheap adapters that clip onto individual 45s with the larger hole.
Gracias hace poco tengo la mía y la verdad es Muy buena suenan los vinilos doblando que no podía escuchar en mi viejo tocadiscos Infinitas Gracias -Peace-
I wish this product was named differently. When I search for "Numark PT01 Scratch" I get a lot of results for scratching on the PT01. It would have been better if it was named PT02 or PT01s or something like that.
Download it??? I know it can be connected digitally, but are you having a laugh? Basically you're trying to ask where you can get it for free? 🙄 The youth of today!

Literally one of the best quick overviews of this product thanks homie
it can also run 12-inch vinyl like the original design but there is still overhang

@@NicollGallery Can you connect it to a computer? Any buyers remorse 2 years later?
@@RSCL_BEATZ You can connect it if your computer has an audio in/soundcard
Do you need a preamp for this ?

How do I get the 45 adapter to stay down on this thing? It’s so light every time I go back and forth the adapter moves off with the record!!!!

It's a great idea, but what's the longevity of it? I mean, it can't last long from that kind of abuse, surely...?
