Not cranking and of course not starting!
Engine computer (EDC)doesn;t communicate thru the can lines!

Am using autocom also its good, but it has a problem with PTM trucks. To erase Ebs computers codes like 04388,04389. But to FFR it's ok. Thanks.

How do I remove check so that my truck can start on my Tga 18.440
What is the problem? What faults are active on the instrument cluster?
My MAN TGX26.440 won't start. It's not recognizing the PTM and EDC and battery voltage is --. How can I solve this? If I bridge the starter it's cranking nicely but on the key no response.
And what are the error codes?In most cases those symphtoms indicates a faulty PTM..It happends really often! But to be sure,first you will need to check if the ptm and edc have power +.

@@haraldurodqvist7538 hi there.If it's automatic, the problem can be from the gearbox,a sensor or a broken wire.It will be very helpfull if you can tell what faults appear on the dash when you start the engine.

Hi i have one big problem
I have MAN tgs 18-400
Something happend with electric system (Short circuit maybe starting with booster)
Almoust every computer have CAN fault.
EBS no com.
INSTRUMENT CLUSTER no com.
Body computer no communication.
PTM working
EDC working
GEARBOX working
But with errors permanent
AND IT WON'T START THE ENGINE.
INSTALLATION checked 8 FUSE dead and the main 125amp +25amp all changed
