Trung Anh In real life no matter how skilled you are you cant drift a 1970 Charger like a Skyline R34 its just technically impossible. Dom in the F&F series has a crap ton of plot armor and nothing else
This race made me realise the difference between racing a muscle car and a tuner car. The muscle cars are all about the ridiculously big amount of horsepower and massive V8 engines while tuner cars are all about the handling to be able to take the turns fast and easily. An american muscle would beat a tuner car in a straight line for sure but it has no chance to beat a tuner car on a road with lots of curves. Both type of cars have their pros and cons. In my opinion no mather what you like and what you drive you should respect all types of cars no mather if it's American, JDM, Euro etc... [Edit] Another thing is that most JDM cars come with manual transmissions and most Americans don't know how to drive stick because they drive automatic cars (no offense) but for sure driving stick is much harder because it really takes time to learn how to release the clutch correctly and shift into different speeds while driving. Thanks to everyone who took the time to read this whole thing :) I appreciate that.

AsianDriver WithContacts the car is pretty important
5:33 I like how they are finally evenly matched and then they have a quarter mile left to go!!!
I feel like a lot of people missed that.
@@quantum0151 No frrr I’ve seen this scene a million times and never noticed they did a callback at this but, with them finally being equal lengths once there was a quarter mile left. Just like the old movies 😎
@@quantum0151 That would be a shame....
@@ImaginaryNate Also the NOS
The greatest racing scene in movie industry ever❤️🔥
“Sorry car” idk why that was my fav part 😂😂😂
The sound of that R34 purring made me tear up, I miss this man.
So as I! And I miss that , because I still didn't ride it! I love Skyline more than any car in the world!
damn skyline r34 best sound ever damn !!
No the 2ND movie has a better one,its way more badass and cooler sounding
Ven Cz shututututu
Gtt
Ven Cz Yuck.
GhostTheScientific forreal i love the sound of the skyline in that one
Sick street race. Probably the last proper one in the series
The best race ever in all fast & furious movies
Brian is clearly is best driver here, he caught up with dom after almost crashing twice and getting off the original route. And he passed him!
Hell yea bro PW the goat
Still a buster.
@@tonym3659 lame'o
@@Eddietorres1959 😹
3:17 Brian always tells his technology to SHUT UP😂😂
5:11 another good sound
I don't like how dom pulled that move at the end but thats skill too and in the streets, there are no rules.
why does every skyline gtr in the fast and furious franchise have to get disrespected.
well.. they arnt street legal here, so fuck it! blow it to bits! haha. the one they blew up was probably just a shell.
This one was a GTT not a GTR. The one from 2F2F was a GTR
@@willthenismoman4854 No,it was also an gtt with gtr kit
The cars was a gtr but when they crashed it was a empty gtts
*GTT
5:00 one of the most badass scenes . We miss u paul
Brian was the master at recalibrating and making it up on the fly.
Thats talent.
Most underrated charter in fast and furious franchise is the gps lady lol😂
Always loved how the BMW has a M5 badge yet every shot of it's speedometer is from a regular 5 Series
This was the best race in the series. Wish the franchise could bring some more like this one.
Only if they reboot this shit cuz it is total shit at this point of *TEN!*
This and the dk race
4:30 YEA GUESS WHOS BACK DOM
ไม่มั่นใจ
Back when America was a 1st-world country.
I use that “go cry to your mamma eh” whenever someone’s upset with me. It’s so satisfying
Always loved the way all of his Skylines and Gtrs sounded 0:40
Your probably not gonna see this but it's a GTT
Not a GTR, it's a GTT with a Volkswagen Engine located in the back of the Trunk 😂
@@chandlersbryant4047 Craig Lieberman say there were only 1 Gtr used in furious 4 and the rest were all Gtt
3:56 my God! That sound is everything! I swear as a kid I used to make that sounds with my voice, turbo flutters and all
Chandler S Bryant I believe that was only for the hill scene. The rest of the race was actually a gtt and for when the car was parked or barely moved for a scene it was an actual gtr.
5:50 Brian finally learn from his past mistakes of using NOS too quickly
Thats why he deserved to win.
Also loved how brian *BAITED* Dom into early NOS. SEE AT 5:41 when Brian looks in his rearview?
one of the best races in cinema tbh. I wish they continued with this style, open street racing, and actually showing it. when I first saw five I was so heated with all the implied races, even the first with Porsche was just a tease for something that never came! the race in Britain was good, just wish they had some fodder, or at least picked a different song 😂
Sound design was fantastic very accurate car sounds. The bmw clearly has a V10 swap from generation after.
5:28 I love that sound
Agree 👍
So basically, Dom won because he got SUPER lucky during the race (re-watch it and look at all the times he only survived because other cars moved out of his way when he was racing through on-coming traffic) and because he fishtailed Paul at the end. Zero respect earned.
Paul got lucky he didnt killed any pedestrians with his stupid drive... zero respect earned.
The Oh shut the fuck up Brian >>>>>> Dom any day.
Dom is nothing but plot armour and superman.
@@alexbasha0508 Dom has Brian beat when the have the cop car drag race but then lets off at the end to let Brian win. I feel like if Dom can beat Brian while driving the EXACT same car then that means Dom has more skill.......right?
@@alexbasha0508 hey, just put Brian in a muscle car and see, whether he can drift like Dom in Tokyo Drift or not =]] thats what i call "skill". in this movie, Brian's Skyline is much better than Dom's Charger... if you have better car and you still cant win, you better shut your mouth up and go cry with your mama haha
[Edit]
Another thing is that most JDM cars come with manual transmissions and most Americans don't know how to drive stick because they drive automatic cars (no offense) but for sure driving stick is much harder because it really takes time to learn how to release the clutch correctly and shift into different speeds while driving.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to read this whole thing :) I appreciate that.
