This was such great work from both of you. This is definitely the best content you can make, having an open discussion and being open to constructive criticism is such a great learning environment
@21:15 most people dont know what to do in that spot in the BB when lead into with their entire range and are vulnerable for mistakes all 3 streets, what are you guys thinking 🤔
@@sportix3662 ya I would say that it could be a great spot to exploit vs weaker players. I just think, as talked about in the video, that it would be hard to balance your ranges in this spot and not be overbluffing

Great video, awesome collab with two amazing players. This can really show that after all there is no 100% right or wrong way to play poker which makes it way more interesting and an amazing game.
Content like this where two people who have put deep thought into poker go over a hand history is tops. Especially two pros with strong opinions. I have watched hours of Charlie's content streaming and on youtube and this session is the most informative about his approach to play. His discussion about avoiding clashing with the Nick Petrangelo level players and wait for the recreationals to "donate 100BB of his chips" is a good example. Thanks, Ben and Charlie! Looking forward to the next video.
Really interesting to see that at the beginning it was like “We play the same!” but when the hands were being analyzed, often different lines were advocated.
I think Charlie objectively is making a lot of mistakes. Ben is being nice about it, however Charlie is reluctant to admit some mistakes and he ends up contradicting himself a lot when he tries to justify why he took a certain line. Comes across like he has a big ego, at least that is what I am seeing. His justification seems to always be everyone's a fish so doing this is fine, when he actually doesn't know the other players.
Actually 642ssx is a really good board to donkbet 3way here (70+% leading) but mostly with small size. The fact that he recognize it as a good board to donkbet and most of regs just check quickly full range tells us a lot about the importance of thinking out of the first mainstream strat that comes in mind. Sometimes our brain attach the solution we studied too quickly missing some meaningfull variables. Thank you both guys for your inspiring projects that will help a lot of people.
È un board i cui bb ha sicuramente un vantaggio di nuts grande ma considerando che sei pur sempre oop e 3way direi che 70 di frequenza è un po' altina o no?
Brilliant content again from you both and so pleased to hear that there's more to come. I always learn something about poker listening to you guys, but maybe the most important part of this video and the podcast was the openness to new ideas. Most people make up their mind, stick with it and refuse to grow. We're very lucky in the poker community to have you both, so thanks for all that you've done and continue to do.
Really enjoying this one! Charlie is showing his exploit approach to the metagame and how it relates to individual hands. Great contrast in styles and surrounding discussion.
Looking back on your career, what do you think has benefited your game the most? Reviewing hands in Icimizer, studying preflop ranges, training videos, etc??
With the 33 hand around 16:00 i would probably only raise 33 without a spade to suck out when the flush hits, the UTG+1 range is so Axs and broadway suited heavy and all of those combos are gonna continue against a raise. Money money money when we hit our 3 of spade
Very nice vid. It was refreshing to hear a lot of debate on various (even quite basic) concepts. Much better than the standard reviews: "-this hand is quite standard , we just cbet flop, checkraise turn shove river (or whatewer other line). -yeah yeah this is standard stuff".
Need help folks In the AQs hand i am confused pre flop. I learned that its +ev to 3 bet AQo and to call AQs as you dont want to fold AQs against a 4 bet while to a 4 bet you can easily fold AQo. Im confused now, what should be the right approach with AQs and AQo in terms of 3 betting ir calling? Thanks
it's always very situation dependent. For instance, if your opponent is re-raising you all the time with air you can easily call/jam any AQ. Try to focus on understanding the concepts, and the thought processes, not specifically "what to do with AQ." The same answer won't apply in every situation.
