  • Klepon Cake (Glutinous Rice Balls Stuffed with Melted ‎Coconut Sugar and Coated with Coconut)‎

    Ingredient‎

    500 grams or about 33 ½ tablespoons of white glutinous rice ‎flour.
    ‎* 100 grams or about 6 ½ tablespoons of rice flour or for ‎stronger texture please use tapioca flour, (the original recipe ‎uses 50 grams dose).
    ‎* 7 grams or about ½ pack of Nutrijell.
    ‎* 430 to 440 warm water (For better results, can be mixed with ‎‎65 ml of instant coconut milk).
    ‎* ½ tsp Refined Salt.‎
    ‎## Ingredient for its Filling‎

    250 grams Brown sugar, finely chopped.
    ‎* You may add 2 tbsp sugar + ½ tsp fine salt (Optional).‎

    Ingredient for its Sprinkle‎

    300 grams Grated Coconut (One medium coconut).
    ‎* ½ tsp fine salt.
    ‎* 1 sheet of Pandan leaves, tie a knot.‎

    Additional Ingredient‎

    Food coloring, as needed.
