I also don't understand the comparison of powerless and the hunger games, honestly the only similarity I found out of the whole book was the scene where they showed off their powers in the interviews or whatever. I think its more of a "if you like hunger games, then you will like powerless"

I liked powerless but honestly I can see it. I read hunger games and watched it. It’s not just arena and trials. The whole getting sponsors, gifting. Elements in the trials so I can definitely see it THIS IS NOT HATE I enjoyed the book and am continuing the series but I do see the similarities but I think the rest of the series will be amazing especially after that cliffhanger!

I tried doing this video and all I could do was laugh because I was like okay, I see what they mean but still enjoyed the book. I still have to read Powerless and dude The Hunger Games reference is a compliment considering I enjoyed reading that series plus watching the movies so I will have to leave a review afterwards. It took me halfway through the book to start liking Happy Place and could comprehend the story because of past experiences with my first relationship realizing later on in life that communication is important in a relationship. Haha, the A Court of Wings and Ruin commentaries. Haha, funny. I enjoy Stephanie Garbie's writing style but the story is just not for me because of the toxicity but I do plan on finishing the series just to see what the hype is about.
