My wife and I have traveled through that area a few times, when heading north, in the past decade and we appreciate their presence and awesome service.
Possibly for staging purposes or maybe to set up in the rear area a rehab. Staging the rescue near the rear of all the attack trucks/engines they are out of the way to lay tarps and spare air bottles. That is just a guess.
Love mt. pleasents pumper\tender that's sharp good video is this pa ? If so man they got sweet pumpers down there I m from Maine and most trucks up here are commercial cabs well i was going through scranton area and we saw like a fleet of trucks going code 3 I loved it rotorays mars lights and federals for all units it was like a dream com thanks for sharing these videos its cool to see the different styles of firetrucks
Quinn Dickinson I believe the sheriff cars in my county use them, and the powercall wail on 64, I hear on the engine company at the station near my home.
+Quinn Dickinson okay, thanks. My department doesn't have those on our trucks but neighboring ones do so I didn't know what it was and never had the chance to ask.
Quinn Dickinson-- I remember some of the clueless drivers on the road in Montgomery County, Maryland who must have been deaf and nearly blind. The sirens, beacon ray and Mars light on our ambulances had little effect in getting them to move over. The only thing that finally got there attention was a well-directed beam of light from one of our spot lights together with the siren. Those drivers would appreciate it because they may be possible emergency transports in the future.
Nice catch! I read only "Heidelberg" first and thinks do you mean this city here in Germany ... I not see often firefighter control the traffic in the U.S. videos - why the firefighter not use a lamp with red/green light for signal to the traffic for stop/go? Wonderful the good place for stay! The most police cars stay wrong inside the lane! The overtaking before the smaller street is good too - I just wonder why the many POV's not stops direct at side. They transport normally one firefighter with clothes, this short way they can walk with own feets too!
Its called being cautious how are they to know if its a fire or not? A fire doubles ever 30secs in size, wouldn't you want more equipment than needed than not enough?
Christian Haupt I get it growing up with family being in the fire dept. But for reported smoke they would have been fine sending two pumps and two ladders at most. If it was needed then they send more but 4 tricks would have been fine to start. And maybe a rescue like the international at the end
@@floodkidsgaming7430 Pretty standard for any structure fire call where I am. 4 engines, 2 ladders, 1 rescue/squad, 2 BC’s, 1 EDO and 1 Safety. Always better to disregard than to have to call more and wait while the Fire’s growing out of control. The initial attack is the most important and each of those first due company’s have a job
+Quinn Dickinson What is FIRE-POLICE? Kentucky doesn't have this title. Nor are the volunteers POV or departments apparatus allowed to have blue lights.
+Trenton Boston where I live a structure fire gets 4 engine's (5 for a high rise), 2 truck's, 1 rescue, 1 medic, 2 battalion Chiefs, 2 EMS Supervisors, 1 command aide, and 1 duty FM, and about 95% of the structure fire calls end up being false alarms.

the first ladder looks awsome ! and the Seagrave tower too !
Ok the fire truck that arrived @2:08 was the only one on scene that actually sounded like a fire truck should.... miss that sound
Yup the q siren is the best
I love that train horn on the tower
The siren on that rescue unit is actually kinda creepy 😂😂
Anyone doing the over/under in their head each time a truck would pull into the development to see if it would roll over?
Nice looking tanker. Don't see a lot of those with a top mount pump panel.
Awesome video man! Looks a lot like a structure fire response from where I'm at in PA. Keep up the great work:D
My wife and I have traveled through that area a few times, when heading north, in the past decade and we appreciate their presence and awesome service.
What engine company is this on 2:00 mins? Who the other engine company? Love it noise from trucks.
That's the good ole Detroit diesel talking!
Why did Rescue 64 stop short of the turn and let the other rigs pass?
Not sure.
Quinn Dickinson Anyways, good catch.
I think so the other truck could start another attack line

I think 64 came in for RIT so they let the other rigs go in so 64 can set up a RIT area
Yeah , like I was the ONLY ONE waiting to see the FIRE 😟🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

what siren does rescue 64 have?
Powercall and Federal Q
Quinn Dickinson I believe the sheriff cars in my county use them, and the powercall wail on 64, I hear on the engine company at the station near my home.
@@jae837 the one you heard on this response was not a powercall. It was a regular wail

George Hope powercall

What are the lights that are spinning around on the front of the truck called?
Roto-Ray.
+Quinn Dickinson okay, thanks. My department doesn't have those on our trucks but neighboring ones do so I didn't know what it was and never had the chance to ask.
+Quinn Dickinson What's It For? I Don't Have Those On Our Department.
Basically just another form of emergency lighting. Similar to what the Mars 888 light is used for.

I heard a few of those older Detroit Diesels

Skankpronger yep it was a slow day

Fantastic video!👍🏻👍🏻
Ladder=train horn?
Yup!
+Quinn Dickinson What is FIRE-POLICE? Kentucky doesn't have this title. Nor are the volunteers POV or departments apparatus allowed to have blue lights.
Basically we direct traffic at fire scenes. We run red lights but blue lights are courtesy lights.
+Quinn Dickinson That's awesome. I wish Ky had Fire/Police.
How do you pronounce that?
Great video
Fantastic Video
why do you have a union sticker on your truck?
Good job keep it up
So, What' with the traffic direction? Not smart.
that's a big response what happened
+Danman16 Possible Structure fire. Turned out to be nothing major.
all that for nothing major? hell where I live on our worst days we are lucky to get half of that lol
It was a small fire.
Jeez. Around here structure fires get 2 engines a tanker and 2 brush units. Then again it's small and rural here
Cool
nice
When directing traffic don't turn your back when standing in travel lanes
Nice video!!
